Customer Review: Watch those little fingers

We bought this toy for our 14 month old. As soon as we got it out of the box, she started playing with it. She put one hand under the ladder in the back and the other hand on the ladder in the front and lifted the truck. We couldn't figure out why she started crying until I took it away from her. Her fingers got pinched in the back when the front of the ladder lifted up. She pinched her fingers so bad, there were red marks on her finger nails. We called Fisher Price and they asked us to send it back for a refund. The toy looked nice but after what happened, we couldn't keep it in case she pinched her fingers again.Customer Review: Another great FP toy!

I had to write this review after I read a previous reviewer who gave this toy 1 star. My advice to that reviewer: READ THE AGE RECOMMENDATION! Don't call and complain to Fisher-Price that your child's hand got pinched when you buy a toy that is for 18 months up for a 14-month-old.
I am always impressed with the durability and imagination-inspiring design of FP Little People toys. You will never be sorry when you purchase them. I still have sets from the 70's when I was a child!

My two and a half year old son loves this toy. The only negative thing I have to say is not about the toy, but about this page. If you pull up the pictures it looks as if this truck comes with the Discovering Things That Go Volume 4 Video. It does not come with the truck. I think that with shipping and handling and tax this is expense for a fire truck. It does have nice features and I am glad that I got it for my son because he loves it. I highly recommend you get it.Customer Review: Fun for girls too!

My twin girls received this fire truck as a gift for Christmas when they were 13 mo. old. They got the biggest kick out of it! They loved the fact that they could make it talk and move and put the people in and out. Now that they are 16 mo. old, they have more imagination and can use it together with some of the other little people sets (such as the fire station). The sounds are good quality, it moves on carpet, and is a wonderful first fire truck. Great product!Customer Review: Best Firetruck on the market!

Our 11 month old son received this for Christmas and, wow, what a great truck!
1. Love that the ladder moves up and down and can fit both the firedog and the fireman.
2. Eyes move when it drives- cute.
3. Nice fire truck sounds.
4. Both our kids love to make it drive forward.
We rotate toys and this firetruck has turned out to the favorite of all our trucks and cars. It's the one the kids keep going back for!
