We just got this for our 15 month old son who has just figured out how to use a pen/cil. This is great! No mess to worry about (except for maybe some water if you kid tries to write on other things), you don't have to worry about anything being toxic in case they chew on it, the mat is big enough for little kids to doodle and not run out of paper, and it dries so that you never have to keep buying paper! The only downside is you aren't supposed to wash it in the machine as the back is plastic. Much MUCH better than the Color Wonder where only certain parts of the paper can be "colored".

Big enough for two little artists, it features a surface that reveals drawings when the magic pens and stamps are pressed to the surface.
