My 12 year old received the "My Photo Booth" for Christmas, and absolutely LOVED it. However, it has been impossible to find replacement film in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore suburbs. And Polaroid does NOT even sell the film online that will fit this camera toy. How can this product continue to be marketed if there is no film available to use after the initial 6 shots are depleted? If there was easy access to replacement film, I would definitely rate this at 5 stars. Unfortunately, that is NOT the case.Customer Review: WHERE'S THE FILM?????

My grade-school aged daughter loves this camera. It is always out and ready for when a friend comes over or she just gets the impulse to take a photo. I am happy because that is exactly how the toy is intended to be used.
BUT - When I purchased this item I ASSUMED that something as common as Polaroid film would be easy to find - but it is near impossible and I live in New York City!!! She got the gift over winterbreak - after the film ran out I set out for what I thought would be a quick trip to purchase more film. It took about three days and about 15 stores to find it. Then I stock piled as much as it as my greedy hands could get hold of - which was a pathetic two boxes. And you know what? It is not cheap film. I also bought some of the sticky film (which is a neat idea) but it DOES NOT fit in the machine - and you can't return opened film. That was a waste.
I don't know how polaroid keeps selling izone cameras when the film used for these cameras is near impossible to find!
Except for this film issue - I love it, she loves it and I would recommend it to anyone....but not having film for a camera is a BIG hurdle to overcome!

I wrote to the manufacturer of this toy and asked about film. I was quite mad I could not find it anywhere. BUT! Customer service got right back to me and I just bought 8 packs of 12 exposure film from wolfcamera.com. You can also get it at www.ritzcamera.com, or www.ecamerafilms.com. GREAT!! the toy was loved by my daughter but....after using 3 out of the 6 pictures available it was IMPOSSIBLE to find film. it is 2006, if by now you have recieved tons of emails from unsatisfied customers WHY IS THIS PRODUCT STILL FOR SALE??? can someone email all previous customers back letting us know WHERE we can purchase the film??? its the least you can do, after all this product was not cheap...and not returnable so what was the point of purchasing it for a 'one-time' use??? not to mention seeing how disappointed my daughter got when she realized we couldn't find film anywhere...? totally upset and unsatisfied customer....please advise with any info on the purchase of film VERY MUCH NEEDED.....MOM, FROM BRONX, NEW YORK!!
