We bought this for our 2 yr old daughter for Christmas but it turned out to be too big for her. She still enjoys bouncing it like a ball around the house though. It will probably take another year and a half for her to grow into it though. The DIAMETER is 18" not the circumfrence like I had originally thought. It could be even too big for a 3 yr old - which is the age suggestion on the box. Our daughter is slightly above average height for a 2 yr old so I thought it would work out for her. i bought this for my 11 year old and her friends to clown around with. BUT....I found that this is the perfect size to sit on and work in my office. I almost bought one of those expensive ball chairs that cost double or more what this toy costs....glad i didn't!! This is a fantastic ball to sit on. I work 60 hours per week in front of my computer and use this about 1/4 of the time when my body gets tired of my executive leather chair. It forces you to sit up straight and is very comfortable. I received the hippity hop (hop 66) on time and well packaged. I used a regular tire pump / mattress pump to fill it up. I did not fill to capacity, and it works fine for an adult 150 person. My boyfriend tried it also, and he's tall and weighs about 225lbs. Love it. It's a keeper. The reason I gave it a 4 stars for durability is because it is plastic, so technically if you hop on a nail it will pop. Still I think it is sufficiently durable. These hopping balls are so much better than any of the ones available in the stores. The 66 is much bigger than I imagined. They are the right size for the bigger kids. Our 9 and 12 year olds can play with them. Even the adults get a turn once in a while. They are a little too large for the 5 yearold but they play with them anyway. These balls are sturdy, well made and easy to fill. Love them. They were shipped fast. And arrived in perfect condition.Customer Review: Great toy

This is a great toy, and my son and I (petite mom) have fun bouncing around the house. The only complaint I have is with the handle. Ours split on the top part very shortly after we started using it. Nothing a bit of clear duct tape can't fix, but still a design flaw. I've seen this on a few hop balls over the years, so it appears to be a common issue. Maybe prevent the splitting by adding the duct tape prior to it's first use... har!
