I ordered this hopping ball because we already have a green gymnic with a 55 listed on the ball that we found at a local store 2 years ago. My daughter loves her ball and my son is finally big enough for his own. I bought a spongebob one from Target and it died within a couple months. My daughter has bounced on hers for a full two years and it is still going strong! I ordered another 55 in red assuming it would be the same size, but it was actually much larger. I don't know what happened over the past 2 years because 55 is a size and shouldn't change but maybe there is something with the color too? I'm not sure. We just swapped- my son has the original smaller 55 and my daughter has the new one. We still love this ball!Customer Review: Daughter never stops bouncing!

Absolute GREAT toy! my 5 yr old little girl had one, bounced all over the house from the moment she opened her eyes until she closed them! She got so comfortable bouncing around she began spinning in circles in the air as she hopped! It's really cool, and because she has super long hair she loves to see it fly all over if she passes a mirror. It held up pretty good for a good while, even when used outside, I think it hit a sharp spot on the patio, one day it finally blew up, but I am getting her another, it's a great toy, worth it all the way, and even the Uncles stop by to hop around on it, or tease her by using it as a (comfortable) foot/leg rest while relaxing on the couch. What a great way to get your kids moving! My eight year old, who's tall for his age, just LOVES this. It's made out of a strong rubber and does not have latex in it (my boy has a sensitivity to latex). I bought the hand pump for $6 and it was a breeze pumping this up. Plus they give you extra plugs just in case you lose one. I wasn't sure if the plug would stay in, but it has not showed any sign of popping out. The manufacture says that it's for indoor use only, which is not a big deal.
If you got kids who are on the go and get the winter humdrums, this toy is great to get them moving. I'm planning to buy another one for playdates.

I LOVED this ball when I was a kid. I was so glad my parents got me the big blue one, because my little sister grew out of her red one (the medium size, I believe) pretty quickly, but the big one is big enough even for adults when freshly inflated.
I give it 5 stars for what it is, but I have one warning: After many years the rubber still looked fine, but one day my then-teenage sister was using it as a computer chair and it spontaneously burst beneath her. (No she wasn't hurt and yes it was hilarious.)
So if you manage not to pop this thing prematurely, it's probably a good idea to replace it after a few years anyway.

I bought the Hop 55 for my daughter's 8 year old birthday last month. She is on it everyday and loves it. I keep it indoors in the living room. She bounces when she is watching TV everyday and bounces back and forth around the house. It keeps her busy and fit. Great gift. NOTE: The yellow stopper in the Hop 55 has to be taken out before inflating. I did not understand this and the directions were not clear. I had to order the GYMNIC pump to inflate it. I could not figure out another way. Once I took the yellow stopper out and used the GYMNIC pump it inflated within minutes.
