Most the reviews on here are for using this item for toy storage (as advertised). However, this is a great way to store small bagged snacks, like chips, in your pantry. You can see all the chip flavors and pick chips just like a vending machine or store display. Plus, it keeps them from getting crushed by other pantry items or from getting lost in the shuffle.
I also think this item would be perfect for storing hats, scarves, and gloves in a mud room. I currently use some hanging bags for that, but in retrospect, this would have been a perfect solution. It reduces the need for shelf space and it keeps items handy.
Don't just consider this item for toys...it's great for organizing all sorts of things!

Basically this is a cheap looking plastic chain - I really had my doubts when we opened it up - but my hubby screwed it to a stud in the ceiling and we told our daughter to start hanging up her friends. Unbelievably - she was able to hang every stuffed animal she had (she put two on some clips so she wouldn't run out of clips). Now they are all hanging in the corner of her room instead of the floor, the bed, the dresser, etc. They look pretty cute hanging up that way - she doesn't have to dig through a toy box to find the particular one she wants to play with and I can vacuum her floor!Customer Review: Great space-saving storage solution!

I was looking for a way to store my son's stuffed animals, without taking up a lot of space. This chain with clips turned out to be the ideal solution. The clips are very strong, and can hang fairly large stuffed animals. There is screw that comes with the chain - the screw is supposed to be installed into the ceiling, and is used for suspending the chain. But I didn't want to put a hole in the ceiling (since we live in a rented apartment), so I just put a nail in the wall close to the ceiling and hang the chain from the nail. Love this chain! Any parent knows how quickly kids accumulate stuffed animals and this holds numerous ones of all shapes & sizes. We have about 3-4 larger ones (elephant, polar bear & monkey) that I thought may be too heavy in addition to the smaller dogs, cats, ducks, bunnies, etc. but that was not the case. It is durable and strong to hold all of them. Came with enough clips too. We may have to purchase another one in the future and link them together and just drape them across one wall.Customer Review: Awesome way to conquer the clutter, better than expected.

Was skeptical to buy. Love this product. I only wish that it came with a few more clips. It helps keep all the stuffed animals and barbies off the floor. Holds even large stuffed animals amazingly well. On clutter control, as soon as there are no more hooks left, time to donate the not-played with ones to make room for the new ones. yes, it is a little cheesy with the plastic, and i would like some other material better. but, it cleans up easily and does what the product says it will.
