These tools work great for the little helpers. They look and feel just like the real thing, unlike the plastic versions that are quickly discarded as fakes. My nephew didn't like the plastic tools because he wanted "real" ones and these fit the order. I love the hardwood handles and the metal ends seem to be fine, the biggest problem is the length of the handles!! I bought this for my grandkids and actually the tools are a little short for them. Had the handles been another 6" - 10" longer it would have been a great set...worthy of a 5 star rating.Customer Review: Superior set

A very sturdy set of tools for a mature young gardener.
I can't say the same for the shipping package that Amazon used. The packing box was much too large with insufficient packing material. It arrived smashed, completely open on one side and 1/4 open on the other.

My son loved these "real" tools. He used them in the garden with dad and I. Unfortunalty, these seem to be better suited for pretend. After a short time the tops came off of the handles. We had to screw them back on. They were a lot of fun but I wish they had lasted longer.Customer Review: Sturdy set

I had delayed purchasing a garden set for my 3 yr old grandson as I was having trouble finding one that had a spade, garden rake, hoe and leaf rake. This has all four and they are well made. Plus the price is reasonable. He now can help in the vegetable garden with supervision.
