First, for those of you who know the difference, this is Smeagol here, not Gollum. He doesn't talk or anything, but It's finally here, the Gollum figure that toy collectors have been waiting for! Enthusiasts like me who collect the Lord of the Rings sets of action figures were disappointed at the array of bendable, ugly Gollum figures from The Two Towers line, and some Return of the King editions. But look no longer, fans, your Gollum has ARRIVED!

First, for those of you who know the difference, this is Smeagol here, not Gollum. He doesn't talk or anything, but he is ultra posable. His waist, neck, fingers (all together), elbows, wrists, shoulders, knees, ankles, and toes (all together) are movable, to provide the luxury of creating the thousands of poses that the hobbit-like Ring addict from the beloved New Line Cinema trilogy based on the books by Tolkien. So far, mine has remained intact, but with all these poses and joints and everything (these are joints, by the way, not rubber bendables) I don't doubt that it would be easy to push a little to hard and snap something off. If you're buying this for your child, I would recommend the rubber one for durability.

As for that wall...it's kind of worthless, if you ask me. There's no phrases that can be triggered, and its only use is to hook Smeagol's hands into the little hooks and you can thus slide him up and down the wall, simulating a crawling action. Kind of hokey, but it's not the first.

I highly recommend this figure, especially if you, like me, have been waiting for the GOOD edition of Gollum to be released....
