This is an excellent tire swing and very well constructed (both tire, rope and the clasp thingy). I've attached it to the "old" (9 years now) swing-set and it has added life to it. My 3 kids (average height and weight... the biggest being 4'9" and about 75 lbs) are 6, 9, and 11 and they all have a blast on it. So much so, that I've got less to mow now as all the grass below the swing set is nothing but dirt now. The kids will even throw the two other swings up on top of the monkey bars to get them out of the way so they can go nuts with the swing.
So, if you want to have an impeccable lawn, then don't buy this (unless you want to put it in your basement :), but if you want to provide hours of entertainment for your kids, then get one of these.
