This will be our second gym play mat, her first playmat was a fisher & price one from wal-mart, the grandparents bought it for her, and she just didn't really show any interest in it, it was not brightly colored nor there was really any interesting toys on it for her to stare at, and the mirror was so small that she just didn't care much for it.
Even though I didn't want to spend to much money, I asked around on some of the parenting chat forums I go to and also asked other mothers from playgroups and they all mentioned this gym playmat and said that they found this a good investment, and I thought what the hell, she will either like it or not and if she doesn't then I can always take it back and see if I can exchange it for something else.
We both love this gymini, my little one stares and looks around and coo's and gaa's at the toys and stares at herself in the mirror lol, it is so cute. She has started grabbing on to the toys and kicking them, which I suppose is not bad for a 7wk old. So it turned out to be a not bad investment, eventualy she will grow out of it and I will have to buy another expansive toy, but if it helps with her development it is worth every penny.

Boy do I wish I had bought this for my first child. Instead of my third. My baby loves this. There are so many things for her to do. She has played on this since she was 4weeks old. Trying to get her eyes to focus and see a better picture of things. Now she looks at everything. She loves the parrot, and elephant. She also loves the lights in the flowers. She will pull at the flowers to see the lights. Now I can not keep her still on the gym. She rolls to where she wants to be and plays for hours on end. This was a gift and was by far the best I have ever had. The really good thing is that the music is not that loud. So it does not hurt her ears. She will actually roll over to the music box and put her ear to it and go to sleep. The really good thing about this product is that Tiny Love has a lifetime warranty. If something ever breaks, tears or whatever they will replace it (no questions asked). I have several tiny love items and they are all so good. The quality is great. The customer Service is wonderful also. I bought a tiny love Mobile and the music box did not work and they sent me another one(music Box) and I got it in 2 days. I would tell anyone to buy all of there products. They are all so great.Customer Review: Simple, yet entertaining!

We did not purchase this item for our son. It was given to us as a hand-me-down from friends with three children of their own. Still, we didn't know what to think..."An activity mat? It's just a mat with some toys that dangle from some bars...what's the big deal?"
After our son was born, we soon learned that the simple toys are usually the best. He was too little at first to grab the dangling toys, with the exception of the giraffe (the longest). However, he just enjoyed looking and the bright colors and different shapes. Our son was very colicky, and we found sometimes that the only thing that helped was to put him on the mat so he could be a little distracted and kick his little legs to get the gas out.
He's three months old now and teething. Again, sometimes the only thing that helps during this rough time for him is to put him on the mat, and he can gum the toys that hang down the farthest (the monkey and the giraffe). It's distracting and engaging for him so that we can get a few minutes to relax while he gets some fun time in.
One thing that I didn't know is how expensive the toy is. I guess it's not the greatest value but it really is a great toy.

After reading the reviews, I put this mat on my registry. I didn't start using it right away because I thought my daughter was too small. Little did I know. She absolutely loves it. I was in shock to see how she reacted and absorbed all the mat had to offer. Her eyes opened wide the first time she played and now that she's smiling and cooing, I swear she's having conversations with those animals (her favorite by far is the monkey). Don't get me started on how she reacted when she saw her reflection in the mirror. She's only 2 months old!! I can't wait until her motor skills kick in and she starts grabbing and physically playing. For now, I use this mat for tummy time (the mat itself has pictures on it with different textures) and on her back for excercise (she kicks like crazy at the animals.) Because of this playmat I'm able to cook, clean, and pick up while she is playing...it has given me freedom to take care of other things. She is entertained and engaged and I know she will use it for many months to come. It also folds up AWESOME!! I put it in the plastic bag it came in so that it doesn't get dirty when she's not using it. When going away for the weekend...it definitely comes with me.Customer Review: Love it!! Love it!! I received the Tiny Love Gymini as a Shower Gift and I bought the Exersaucer Entertainer for my daughter a few weeks ago (she wasn't quite 4 mos. at the time) and she loves them both! I have been using the Gymini since she was a month old for her tummy time. Her development and stimulation from the animals and mirrors have been really amazing. Now, she likes to stand and has had real good development in her back and neck for her age. So, I purchased the Exersaucer for her. She's up to about 15 minutes in it. Which gives me time to get bottles ready, take a breath, and type this review! :-)
The Exersaucer was amazingly easy to put together. My husband is deployed, so I ended up putting this together by myself. No problem. Everything was easy and not real time consuming! I was so proud of myself, I sent pictures to my husband.
Anyway, my baby girl has discovered how to pull and grab just about everything and has done so much to the dogs dismay! I only wish the legs on the Exersaucer converted to an actual walker because I would hate to part with this in a few months.
The Gymini and Exersaucer are wonderful! I recommend them both to any parent!
