We received this playmat when our daughter was a newborn. It was an instant hit. Our daughter loved looking at the hanging toys (mirror included)when she was itty-bitty, and now at almost 5 months, she loves grabbing and yanking on them. The toys detatch from the arcs and are light and soft, so she can pick them up and move them around easily. The mat itself has colorful pictures and textures, which are fun for tummy time. We actually got two of these as gifts and kept them both she loved them so much. We keep one in the car so she can stretch out and play when we visit other people's homes. One other big plus-the mat washes well and gets softer and softer. A definite must have for young babies.Customer Review: The best thing you can buy for your little one!

I'm so thankful we got this as a gift! Our son started laying in it and lightly touching the toys when he was only a few weeks old. Once he was about a month old he was batting at the toys like crazy! Now he's 9 weeks old and he laughs hysterically at all the little creatures while he bats at them and looks at himself in the mirror. This is simply the BEST toy you can purchase for your little one. What I love about it also is that I can leave him under it for a little while and he's totally entertained while I grab a quick bite to eat or throw laundry in - it's totally safe and he just loves it! You can tell it's a very high quality, well-made product too - nothing cheap about it!Customer Review: Must have for baby

I love this toy. We have been using this since our baby was born. At first we would just lay him on the mat with no toys or use for tummy time. Now he is a little older and we have a couple of the toys hanging so he can reach up and hit them. His favorites right now are the turtle mirror and the octopus. This keeps him entertained for 15-20 minutes which is great for a six week old. I have already washed the mat and have had no problems with fading. Also this is easy to fold up to take to grandma's so he has something to play with while he is there. There are also several different toys you can buy so I know we will be able to keep him entertained. You won't regret this purchase.Customer Review: Not bad, not great

This toy is okay in my opinion. I guess it's because my son never really took a liking to it. We had to hang other mobiles on it for him to really want to be under it for a while. Once he learned to roll over, away it went. It's cumbersome, but folds up quickly and easily. Comes with a plastic handle bag for storage. That was nice. I wouldn't buy this for a new mother-to-be, but everyone is different. I liked the bright colors - that's what attracted me to it and I liked that it was soft and washable. I've never washed it so I don't know how much the color fades like other have said. I'll get it out for the next baby...who knows maybe I'll fall in love with it then!Customer Review: Happy baby, happy mom

I received a Tiny Love playmat at my baby shower. We've put the baby on it since he was born and just in the last few weeks (he's 12 weeks old now) he has loved it!. He loves to stare into the mirror and just in the last week has started looking at other toys hanging from it and swatting and wiggling at them. Mine came with a musical seahorse. The only difficulty has been finding more toys to hook to it, it has and handful of grommets for just such a thing. I've washed it since he has spittled on it and it came through fine. It folds for storing. It's a little wide, but very thin. I would recommend this to anyone as a great toy for a kiddo that can't crawl yet.
