Toys and Games Reviews of Tiny Love Gymini Deluxe - Noah's ArkCustomer Review: It's the space, not the toys Summary: 3 Stars
The best part about this toy is that it forces you to clear out a bit of space in the playroom. I mean, I get tired of tripping over toys as much as the next parent, but I'm far too lazy to clean them up.Then your relatives buy this toy for you and you think, "hey, maybe my infant would enjoy this". Which is a good thing, because if you yourself enjoyed it, I'd start to wonder. But of course the playroom floor is a mess, so you have to make room, which then devolves into actually *putting toys where they belong*. Gasp. And before you know it, the playroom is clean for the first time in weeks, the kid is screaming because she's being ignored, and you're ready to lay out this playmat. And so you do. And she bats at the toys for a minute or so. And then she gets bored. Or hungry. Or both. But, hey, at least the playroom is clean.
Customer Review: The ONLY toy for a baby less than 6 months old Summary: 5 Stars
The Noah's Ark Gymini Activity Mat Deluxe is a wonderful toy for babies. You can lay them there when they are only a few weeks old and they can look around at the colors, and listen to the tunes. Each toy can be dangled in different holes and positions. And because of the colors, it holds the baby's attention. Once the baby gets older, he'll start batting at the toys and grabbing onto them. You can get good pictures standing over them as they look at the toys, as well as from the side. Extra toys can be purchased and hung on the plastic chains in the holes on the arches. This mat is also portable, you simply fold the arches flat, and snap the sides of the mat in place, to put it back in the carrying case. The mat can also be washed by detaching it by the snaps from the arches. A very practical and entertaining toy.
Customer Review: Amazing!! Summary: 5 Stars
My mom bought this for us and it works so well. My son would lay on the mat forever and just look at the toys. As he got older, he would play with them. The hooks hold the toys on so you don't have to worry about them falling and hitting your child. The octopus was my son's favorite toy for the longest time. We would unhook it from the mat and attach it to his car seat or stroller whenever we would go somewhere. My son still plays it even though he is eight months old. My husband's three year old cousin recently came over and even she laid down and played in it. It is very easy to clean and fold up when you are done with it. I highly recommend it and there are so many add on's that you can buy to change out the toys that you don't ever have to worry about your child getting bored with this.
Customer Review: Wish I'd had it a little sooner! Summary: 4 Stars
A gift of money received when my daughter was 3 months old was well spent on Tiny Love Gymini. After looking over several other similar playmats at the store I settled on this one. I liked the Noah's ark motif (my husband and I did question their choice of animals?!), bright colors yet still has a fun-childlike design , integrated mat toys and ability to add more toys. My daughter liked batting at the hanging toys, squeaker, and crinkler. Crinkler was her favorite! She enjoyed it everyday. It washed up easily, although the crinkler wasn't as loud after a few washings and the colors faded a little. When she was able to sit up, detaching the toys for play and using the mat without the arches (even when she began crawling) gave it an even longer "life". Great developmental toy. You won't be disappointed.
Customer Review: My baby loves this toy Summary: 5 Stars
My four-month-old son is extremely inquisitive and alert, so when he's left alone in his bouncer, he tends to get bored and want attention constantly. This gym is fantastic because it never ceases to entertain him. He plays and grabs (and tastes!) the toys endlessly and squeals up a storm the whole time. We haven't found another plaything that will keep his attention the way this gym will. It gives him visual stimulation, aural stimulation (everything makes noise!), and also gives him lots of practice rolling side to side so he can grab different toys. I received this gym as a shower present and the only bad thing I can say about it is that it is rather wide when folded, so we don't really travel with it. But it is thin, so it is not hard to store beside our couch for easy access!
