Customer Review: Enduring fun for my 3-month-old!

Five hurrahs for this toy!This is the toy of the moment in my daughter's world - she'd spend her day there if I didn't bother her! At 3 months, she's beginning to reach out to explore the world around her. To her delight, she can kick and bop the toys attached to the arc over her head. She loves the simple song played by the seahorse, she can grab the octopus' legs and pull them to her mouth, she loves to gaze at her reflection in the mirror on the turtle's belly, and the rainbow and whale both rattle when hit! There are two really nifty things about it from a parental point of view: it is light and folds up easily for storage and travel (it fit perfectly in my suitcase, so we took it with us on vacation). Also, all of the toys are on plastic links, so the toys can be rotated to new positions or taken off completely and attached to some other device (perhaps her stroller when she's older).

We bought this for our daughter after visiting my mom who was given one by a friend for us to use when we visit. I was amazed at how well it held our daughter's attention. She was fascinated by all of the colors and she even liked to hear the little song that the sea horse plays. Now a couple of months later, my daughter still loves to play with the gymini and she can grab at the toys and tries to get them to reach her mouth. We can also detach her favorite ones and put them on her car seat or high chair or swing. I love the fact that the gymini is very portable and the arches can easily be un-snapped for quick access to the baby for diaper changes or to use the mat for baby's naps. It also washes very well. I washed and air dried the mat and it looks great--not wrinkled, faded or anything. I would recommend spending the extra money on this item. You get a lot of mileage from it.

From the first time I let my 2 month daughter play with this toy she loved it. She loves the mirror that hangs directly over her head. This is the first toy with a mirror that does not have to be manipulated for her to see herself. Because the arches have many places to hang toys, my daughter can kick at some toys while her hands are busy finding others. The arches unsnap so it is easy to place her on the mat and remove her. Plus you can leave the arches down and your child can play with the toys on her stomach. My parents tried it for a weekend and they even said that it was very user friendly, kept my daughter very occupied, and we all feel as though it is very educational. I have hung many of the Sassy rattles and other products using Sassy links on the hooks. My daughter squeals with delight and I don't feel as guilty when I leave her alone to play in it. My son is two months old and loves his activity gym! The Gymini Deluxe keeps him entertained and happy while I get ready in the morning. We've noticed that it helps with his hand/eye coordination. He looks at the toys and bats at them and then coos and giggles as they swing back and forth. I love how the toys are soft/plush unlike some of the other gyms which have hard plastic toys. I also like how the different toys make different sounds (jingle, rattle, etc) - and none of them annoying! You can rearrange the toys so they hang at different heights and different places along the arches for variety. I also appreciate that the cute and colorful mat is machine washable.
The best part about this toy is that it folds in half and snaps shut for easy storage!
Although the cost of the Gymini Deluxe may seem a bit pricey, this educational toy is definitely worth every cent!

This toy is priceless. After my 14 week old Baby's Morning diaper change and bottle this is where he's placed until I can get the coffee brewing. He loves it and has loved it for Months. He is just now starting to grab onto the toys that hang for his endless enjoyment. I received this gift as a shower present and am eternally greatful. It is definately the best entertainment source that I have putting his Bouncey Chair, Swing and Entertainer/Walker in the dust. He's a little young for the entertainer but since he can keep his head steady already it works for when he wants to be upright and Mommy needs a break from holding him. The Gymini is an excellent tool for tummy time too. The colors are incredible for pictures of your little one playing on his mat. And one of the best features of all you can fold it up and place it behind the couch when it's not in use.
