Customer Review: Just as good as the deluxe version!

My 3 month son blew this off when he was first born. By two months, I tried it again and saw that he was batting at toys and fascinated by the mat. I bought him the "super deluxe" version for downstairs and kept this one upstairs. He loves both mats, but he stays on this basic one a bit longer, perhaps because it is less stimulating. When he's on this, it's so darling I try to join in, but he gives me this.."leave me alone, I'm busy..look" and furiously bats at the toys while kicking at the arches! He goes on for 30-40 minutes sometimes until I catch him getting sleepy.
Bottom line, both products are great fun for babies! This one is not quite as high tech, but every bit as entertaining, as the deluxe version, in fact, baby may last longer on this one because it's a bit less stimulating.

My two-month-old daughter loves this playmat. It is her favorite place to be besides possibly my arms! She started out just lying on it and waving her arms and legs around; now she kicks at the dangly toys, makes faces in the mirror, rolls over on the mat, grabs at the supports on the sides, and is starting to try and grab at the dangling toys. Someone mentioned that it can be overstimulating and that's my experience as well -- it's taken her some time to be able to cope with it for longer stretches at a time, and even now after long enough she starts to get upset when the things she kicks keep swinging back at her. But before that, it can keep her smiling and squealing for half an hour easily. And it disassembles by snaps in less than a minute, goes into the washer and dryer, and goes back together just as easily.Customer Review: **Son Loves This**

We got this as a shower gift. When my son was about 1 month he just sat there starring away. We didnt use it for a while because we were in the middle of unpacking. But when my son got to be 3.5 months, HE LOVED THIS THING!! He is always reaching up and swatting at the toys, laughing at the mirror and he makes all kinds of noises while enjoying the gym. He is picking up his legs trying to kick them as well. I feel this is such a great developmental toy. He is taking full advantage of it now. We have added other soft hanging toys to it becuase the 3 that it comes with I feel are too few. He lays in the this gym for at the most 30 min. Its easy to fold up and move to the next room. Very durable as my two pre-teen step sons are always jumping inside of it with the baby to see what the heck he's laughing at.Customer Review: Mommy's best friend!

I got this for a baby shower gift and it has been one of the most valuable things I received! When I originally registered for this, I thought it was overpriced, but it is well worth the money. I have a 7 week old daughter and she absolutely LOVES her gymini. She will play under this anywhere from a half hour to an hour. She loves to look at herself in the mirror and it keeps here entertained for some time. There are many places to add more toys to the gymini, too. I change them and switch them around to give her a little variety. The only complaint I have about this is that the musical toy does not work at all. I think I must have gotten a defective one, but my daughter still loves to look at it. This is great for little ones who are not able to do a whole lot yet... keeps them very entertained.Customer Review: Wonderful! My Baby Really Responded To This!

I bought this when my baby was 5 weeks old.
He immediately responded as soon as I laid him in it. He became more active on his own than I had ever seen him. I had laid him in a brightly colored playmat of a friend a few days before, and he couldn't have cared less; so I know the fact that he was able to more clearly distinguish the colors got him much more excited.
We used this everyday until he was 4 months old. After that, he lost interest.
It's true that this does have a limited lifespan, and my son hated tummy time until he grew out of this toy, but just the fact that he loved it so much while on his back made it worth it.
I liked the fact that the Black/White/Red was simple, and not a chaos of color in the middle of my house.
