Sorry but this is a terrible buy. My 8 yr. old daughter just doesn't quite "get it" and I have to say I agree. It is very cheaply made, the lights are blurry, and controls are printed very small in grey ink on the white body of the clock which makes them very hard to read. We bought this in October and have stopped using it long ago because it was such a pain. In addition, the alarm sound itself is pretty weird.
