Customer Review: Fun, but needs Eva

Wall-e is a clever interactive robot, but really needs Eva to do most of the interactions. It doesn't come with directions to let you know what he can do, so it's tough for the child to figure out what he can do on his own. The neck is pretty fragile so you need to instruct little boys to be careful. Yeah, right. However, he does look at you when you call his name. He needs to be pushed along to move, and apparently dances and shirks to loud noises. We haven't figured out how to get him to do that yet. Perhaps if we had Eva he'd be more fun, but that means investing another $55 in a toy. It's become an expensive imagination builder, that's for sure.Customer Review: It immediately broke

We purchased this toy as a Christmas present for our 4-year-old. He was VERY, VERY gentle with it because we had told him that he couldn't hold it by the head or bang it around. He played with it on Christmas Day, basically having it interact with the Eve robot and scooting it around by its wheels on the floor. By the end of the day, one of Wall-E's eyes no longer worked. It wouldn't light up. There was nothing cracked, nothing looked like it had come loose, etc. We tried to fix it but ended up returning it to the toy store where we purchased it. I was disappointed that this toy, for which we paid $40, lasted mere hours.Customer Review: My 4 year old's favorite toy!

My little guy loves to play with him, the switch is easy to turn off and he likes to play with this Wall-E while off a lot, making him "talk" on his own and such. When we got it, we told him to be gentle to Wall-E's head per the warning on the back, but we have picked him up by his head and dropped him a few times and nothing happened yet, he's pretty sturdy. The front flap easily pops on and off if a certain child tries to stuff things "inside" and snaps it off, no harm done. It's a little loud, but so are most of his toys. Well worth the purchase as he adores it and plays with him constantly!Customer Review: Interaction Wall-E is exactly what I would expect for 30 bucks!

I picked up this at toys r us yesterday (July 7th) for $[...] its fun and has the actual movie voice of Wall-E. The tracks actually move and its fun to play with. It would be nice if it wasn't so loud but I can deal with that. I would recommended this for any adult or older child who liked the movie and wants to have a little Wall-E around. I could see how this would get broken very quickly if a small child played with it, the head and arms move (motorized) and they seem to like to stop them mid movement which would be hard on the little gears that move the arms and head.Customer Review: Looks and name are deceiving

My son received this from the grandparents the other day. We got it all unpacked and tried to "interact". It doesn't do much more than respond, in gibberish when a noise is heard. If I had to waste the money I would try the higher priced model. This one is already a paperweight. It was pretty funny to watch a bunch of grown-ups trying to figure out what happens for 40 bucks. In reality.....nothing. I'm just sad that my in-laws wasted their money.
It went from 40 dollars to 51 and then while I was looking at it, it shot to 58!!!!
