Customer Review: 72 figures, but ten of everything but the two parachuters.

I have to say that overall my kids and I liked the soldiers, as others have noted it is made of a softer plastic that seems more durable and cleaner. Far better than any of the cheap bagged sets you often find in the toy or grocery store. The highlight of the collection by far are the parachuters and while they do get tangled up they have held up well. So why the four star versus a five? The fact that there are ten of each figure, yes ten mine sweepers, ten bazooka, ten mortar, ten rifle men and so on, but you also get ten commanding officers in each of the two stances. In other words you get twenty sergeants. Something not apparent in the pictures or on the container. I would have liked two or three extra of each of the other five figures and less sergeants.Customer Review: bucket o soldiers and something else.....FUN!

So much fun! the minute I took them out of the bucket I thought WOW these look so much like in the movie. Extremely accurate and detailed. So detailed that you can just stare at them for hours and adore the detail. Makes you feel like your in the movie. Great for displaying after you play with it, Great collectors item, Even the bucket looks accurate to the movie. Thinkway toys are awesome! If you are a fan of the movie A++ , If you just want any toy soldier not related to the movie than C+.The only thing that's flimsy is the metal detector that one of the soldiers are holding. Very true to scale with my RC and MR. POTATO HEAD both being the collectors series. If you're a fan of toy story don't waste your money on regular toy soldiers, Get this! After buying my four-year-old son multiple sets of cheap toy soldiers, I found this one that just came out. What a great set! There are ten different poses of soldiers, plus two parachuting soldiers, the soldiers have sturdy bases so they aren't hard for little fingers to set up and it comes in a nice big tub with a handle, perfect for taking along to Grandpa's house! The figures themselves are nicely made and detailed, without any molding edges that could scratch little ones. The only knock would be that the parachutes get easily tangled, but I really don't know how you could avoid that problem in any set. I would highly recommend this to any parent looking for a toy to stimulate the imagination.Customer Review: This is a 6yr olds review!!

I am dictating my 6 yr old sons review of this product. He is impressed with the fact that the parachute men are flexible and you can "pretend" they are landing on walls. He likes how sarge doesn't come with a parachute because in the movie he doesn't have a parachute. He likes the color green that these are. The bucket of Army men is so so cool, he doesn't like that they don't come with a mine sweeper or a radio man.
As a mom I was super impressed with how smooth and well constructed these army men are. There are NO rough edges I LOVE the look and feel of these!! I think they are great quality I purchased two buckets of these just in case some got lost.

This product came faster than anticipated and in excellent condition! But the best part is our grandsons LOVE it!! These soldiers are of good quality! They are durable and made of a new kind of hard plastic that isn't sharp to the touch but rounded and smooth. They are a brighter green too. The bucket is a wonderful way to keep them all together and in one place.
Our grandson's eyes opened wide and they were very excited to open that bucket! They both sat down and started playing with them. Since they are 5 years and 2 1/2 years old we were quite surprised how the 2 1/2 year old took some and played with them too! I recommend them!!
