Toys and Games Reviews of ThinkFun Zingo

Customer Review: Zingo for a 5 year old BOY!
Summary: 2 Stars

Zingo is like Bingo with pictures instead of numbers. My grandson liked it at first and so did I, however by the third game he was ready to turn the cards over to the harder sides, was ready to play two cards at the same time, plus two cards for me, plus two cards for his teddy bear--all at the same time. The tiles, while very durable, must be loaded into a gadget--a timeconsuming, no fun chore that will be left to the parent or older child. And it is harder the bigger fingers you have. I like this as an alternate game, but not if you only just want to buy one to refresh your game stock.

Customer Review: Great game- great gift
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this game for my 2 boys about a year ago. My kids were then 3 and 6. We can all play this speed version of bingo because the tiles have a picture and the word. My younger son can use the picture to call out the name and does not have to read the words. They love the speed of the game. They each want to be the Zingo slider...the thing you slide to pull out the tiles. We have so much fun each time we play. This year I have bought this game for all my son's friends who turned 4. All parents say the kids love the game. It has been a huge hit! Very pleased.

Customer Review: Great game for 3 year olds
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughter just turned three, and she has many board games such as Memory, Chutes and Ladders, and Candy Land. Out of all her games, she likes Zingo the best. It is the first board game that she understands the rules completely. It's a bingo game basically-- you match the tiles to your board, and you win when the tiles completely covers the your board. The box says it is for 4 year old and above. But I think it is a really fun game and great idea for birthday present for a three year olds. My daughter absolutely loves it, and we enjoy playing it with her.

Customer Review: Very fun game...
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this for my 3-year-old daughter. Little did I know that it would become one of the most requested games on family game night. My 5 and 8-year-old sons enjoy it, too. It is simple enough for the youngest, but not too baby-ish for the oldest. The game goes rather quickly and keeps their attention. They love working the slider that reveals the tiles. The only drawback is it takes a little bit of time to correctly reload the tiles in the slider, but it's not that big of a hassle compared to the fun the kids have playing it. Highly recommend!

Customer Review: Best Children's Game We've Played in a Long Time
Summary: 5 Stars

We got this for our 4 year old this Christmas and it is "the best game ever" and we have played it every single day (several times) since she opened it! It is even pretty tolerable for the grownups, which is saying something. Even our 20 month old gets something out of it b/c we give her a card and let her choose tiles than no one else has "called" and she names the pictures on them and places them all over her board.

I am very very happy with this purchase, and will keep it in mind for the next time we need to get gift for a 3-7 year old.
