Toys and Games Reviews of ThinkFun River Crossing

Customer Review: River Crossing Puzzle
Summary: 5 Stars

Given to me as a 'joke', but became a hit with all ages during a recent visit to friends in Brazil. In fact, our friend is a child psychologist in Sao Paulo and she indicated that it would be a great tool with her clients. She later reports that it is a big hit in the clinic.

We have replaced the set left in Brazil along with set 2, and have sent River Crossing Jr to our grandchildren.

This is a challenging mental exercise. We need more of these in our times.

Customer Review: Family fun
Summary: 5 Stars

We really enjoyed this game. My dad, me and my 4-year-old played together, figuring out solutions. I admit it's a bit hard for my 4-year-old but she will be ready for this eventually ( and in the meantime we can play together). I would buy another one for my 6-year-old niece.
I wish there were replacement pieces as now I am a little apprehensive of losing one of the essential logs included.

Instructions are easy and playing is fun! Highly recommended.

Customer Review: Hope my kids will play with it at some point
Summary: 3 Stars

We tried it out and while it is educational.... well, there's just other games that are more fun. I hope my son will play with it when he's older ( 9 now), but I took it to the hospital when I had a baby and in spite of my boredom, didn't play it much (variations of solitaire were more fun).

Customer Review: Excellent Brian Busting Toy
Summary: 5 Stars

The object is to get your logger from one end og the board to the other while following pretty obvious rules. 40 different cards provide a challenge for all levels. Loads of fun.

Customer Review: I am sorry I bought this game
Summary: 1 Stars

My grandson is 11 and he just isn't interested in this game. I bought both of the River Crossing games, for Christmas, and he hasn't even looked at the second one.
