Thinkfun has come out with a lot of fun puzzle games and all of them are worth looking at, and buying!
With Chocolate Fix you get a baking tray with 9 empty spaces and 9 different chocolate cupcakes in different colors and shapes. You are then given incomplete visual clues with which you must determine where each cupcake sits on the tray in each puzzle. There are 40 puzzles and in each puzzle, only one combination fits the clues.
The puzzles range from beginner (very easy) to expert (very hard). It looks easy but I suggest starting from the very first puzzle to get the hang of it.
I love these games because they really challenge your mind. The beginning ones are very easy, the intermediate ones are solvable with a struggle and gives you a sense of accomplishment, and the very hard ones are really challenging. I've played them with my kids and it's fun to solve the puzzles together and work with them and you can actually see them learning and getting better with each level.
Pros: What I really like about Thinkfun games is that the ones I've got so far all have a bag with a drawstring so you can take them along with you and you can play them in the car or while waiting, it'll keep the kids busy and quiet.
The only con is that I wish the game came with more than the 40 puzzles. Maybe if this game proves popular, they'll come out with set 2. Or if you are particularly generous you can pass them along to friends, and maybe trade them for other Thinkfun games.
