Customer Review: Dr. Seuss Has Done It Again...
Summary: 5 Stars

We purchased this wonderful game via Amazon for $19.99 with Free Super Saver Shipping! The price was extremely right and s/h time was a minimal 3 days! We are extremely pleased with Amazon's continual best deals in town!

Our Godson's birthday was coming up and now that he is in school we thought a more active game would suit him with his classmates! We were right this game is excellent for all ages around! We played it just to test it out - going under the Trick-a-ma-stick Foam Bar wasn't the easiest but yet worth the try - we highly recommend this kit for anyone who wants to enhance their learning skills. Fun for adults as well as youngsters! Creates a great atmosphere for interaction! Gives an opportunity for teamwork! Lots of accessories to play with! Don't Pass This Up! It's Dr. Seuss!

God Bless You All :))

Customer Review: Great concept, mediocre execution
Summary: 3 Stars

I like the concept of the game - we like any game that gets kids up and moving and allows them to do some problem solving. However, the main review notes the flimsiness, and I have to firmly echo that concern - the "trick a ma stick" is several pieces of foam that you (and only a child of maybe 7+ could do this correctly each time) have to disassemble and reassemble each time, which contributes to quick wear and tear. We have only had the game a month, and the stick is useless - the foam has degraded and it won't stand upright. Since 1/3 of the cards require you to do something with this element, we have had to create altneratives in our house. Other than that, I like the game - I agree there should be more cards and it feels like you don't use the other props that much, but it isn't a run of the mill board game and I like the Seussian wordplay and silliness.

Customer Review: the concetpt is awesome but the construction is lacking
Summary: 2 Stars

The concept of this game is great. The kids get to move around and do silly stuff like try to balance something on their head while walking backwards.

The problem is the stick thing you have to put together is very flimsy and it will not stand up properly at all. Which is a big problem since the game revolves around that stick thingy. You have crawl under it, jump over it, walk around it, etc. Well if its falling on the floor every ten seconds it makes the game very frustrating for the kids and adults.

Their are also not enough game cards. And way too many cards that end your turn without you being able to do anything.Which is really frustrating for little kids that are excitedly waiting to play. If they made this game sturdier I would reccomend it. But as is it's one of those games that will not be played again.

Customer Review: What a Disappointment!
Summary: 2 Stars

We were very disappointed with this game because:

1) It's Boring - The age range on the box is from 4 to 8, and the basic sequencing in this game is something that doesn't hold the attention (or provide a meaningful challenge or learning opportunity) to kiddos five and up. Our five year old son was quickly bored with it.

2) It's Not Child-Friendly - Your child needs to know how to read to be able to play the game, so it's not something that most four or five year olds can play without an adult. We love to play games with our child, so this wouldn't be a problem for us, except that . . .

3) It's Not Parent-Friendly - Adults cannot completely play along because the trick-a-ma-stick is not big enough for an adult to crawl through, and it comes apart even when your child tries to crawl through it.

Customer Review: Silly, Seuss-y Fun
Summary: 5 Stars

I picked this up for my son for his 5th birthday. He is SO happy with it! He loves having little "challenges" to complete, loves the props, loves getting up and doing something rather than just sitting there.

The activity level of this game is reasonably high, so be prepared to get up and move somehow for each of your turns. And also be prepared to leave any inhibitions about movement behind as you try to do things like jump up and down while holding a prop under your chin, or crawl around while holding a different prop under your clothes.

Be prepared for lots of smiles and laughs, from both you and your kiddos! A fun game, and I'd definitely buy it again! Now I'm wishing Amazon carried the other 2 Dr. Seuss games, Sing your Heart Out and You to the Rescue.
