My husband is a police officer so I thought this would be a really cute extra thing to get our 3 year old for Christmas. He looks adorable in it and the quality of the costume is much better than I expected. The pants are the only part that feel "cheap", in that they're similar to the kind that come with children's Halloween costumes (very thin, not very durable material...though no problems with it yet after a couple days of play). The long sleeved turtleneck and the SWAT hat/cap that comes with it are good enough to use as normal everyday clothing, the vest is very strong and well made. The flashlight is real and works when you put batteries in it. The other accessories like the handcuffs, baton, etc are molded plastic, reminds me of the type you might buy at a dollar store...but my son is still having a blast with them. Overall, great product and worth the money.
