This case is ONLY good for the flat matchbox toys. I had purchased it hoping to put my son's matchbox, hot wheels, and other similar cars in it. The slots are too small for almost all of his cars. It has a larger slot in the middle that I can use but it only holds 1 car/truck, so essentially I can only put 4 of his cars in the box. I guess the clear plastic box will be coming out as this isn't worth anything. Save your money if you don't have JUST the small flat hot wheels toys.Customer Review: Keep 'em Organized

I have bought several of these cases over the years. My boys are now grown, but wanted to keep their Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars, so I purchased several of these cases. They are rigid and well made and hold all but the longest and tallest of the small vehicles. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to organize their Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars, even if it's just for storage and not just from playtime to playtime. You're going to need this if you buy hot wheels. This is a convenient way to store and carry hot wheels. My 2 1/2 year old gets excited every time he opens the case and sees the numerous cars inside. It should be noted that the case can potentially hold more than 48 cars if you have some of the slender hot wheels because they can be doubled up in the slots, which is especially important to me because my husband has a bad hot wheels shopping habit. :)Customer Review: Mom of C & N

This is a great product for the price! My Children love putting their cars in the case and taking them out. It's great to quickly clean up all those little cars and put them away when company comes over. Amazon has this product for a lot less than other retail stores! Great Value/Great Price! My four year old received this as a gift over a year ago and it still looks brand new. It has been dropped and stepped on and still has not broke. He loves to sort his cars by color, type, size or whatever category he happens to invent. This is our standard birthday gift and all of the little boys that have received it, love it. What parent wouldn't be thrilled to finally contain the dozens of little cars that are all over the house?
