BUY IT!!! If this thing even appeals to you a little, you will NOT be dissapointed.
I bought my two year old a Tangle Jr. (plastic) because I heard it was so great for sensory development. *I* became addicted and could not put it down!!!! Now, I can not stop myself from picking one up when I see it. They are just so affordable I keep saying "Oh, now I have one for the car." "I'll give this one as a gift." "I don't have this color yet." I am in love with this product!!! (I'm an adult by the way, and haven't bought myself a "toy" in decades.)
I went to the Tangle website and saw this chrome one. I knew I HAD to have it. From the moment I opened the box and felt it I knew that this was the COOLEST, most irresistable thing I've ever owned in my life. No lie. I sneak it around with me everywhere, and my daughter knows it's "Mommy's toy." :) I tell everyone I know about how much I love them, I'm a groopie!
Also, the customer service at the Tangle company is superb. If you have a problem, they will fix it. They want you to be happy no matter what. So it's worth every cent. They back up every product they sell with an unconditional LIFETIME gaurentee, so if you think yours is "loose" or not right for some reason, they will replace it. There is no risk.
Now my problem, I've got to justify buying the bigger ones.

The junior would be perfect for the 'anxious' person who may also be a chronic doodler. The original would suit somebody who is looking to increase the visual appeal of their environment.
