This is a wonderful item. My son loves it. He looks and laughs at it and it keeps him occupied up to 30 minutes. It's great for new babies and the toys are detachable so you can use them in other places. I placed some on his cradle so he could look at them. He especially liked the double sided chick. My daughter who is 3 likes to lay on it and look at the toys just like her little brother. I would recommend this product. I wish that they made the mat 2 sided with the red/white/black on one side and multi colors on back so that you could change it after about 3 months. Customer Review: It worked!

It worked like I wanted it to. Problem is that he didn't like it at first. He also doesn't like the music it plays. Other than that, he's totally mesmerized by the colors. Keeps my High Need baby perfectly content for at least 10 minutes. Customer Review: great for stimulating newborns

My baby was completely enthralled by the Gymini at around 3 weeks old, although she couldn't stay in it too long, because it seemed to overload her little senses after a while. It was really fun to watch her groove on it! Now at 10 weeks she still likes it a lot and I expect she will enjoy it even more when she is big enough to bat at the dangly toys.
