You wont see any cows flying by with this item but you can still create a tiny tornado with your own hands. This Pet Tornado is small enough to sit easily on the desk and rest until you decide to create whirling chaos! For those of you looking for larger tornado demonstrations try TORNADO TUBES which is used to attach two 2-liter soda bottles that will create a larger tornado in a bottle. This is still a great way to introduce kids to the basic idea behind this type of weather pattern.Customer Review: Pretty cool!

I had the benefit of reading the other reviews so I knew to expect the item to be smaller than a soda can. I bought it for my 11 year old son for Christmas. Both he and my other kids (older and younger) find it cool to watch. It took us all a little while to figure out how to shake it just right to get it to work but once you do it provides a consistent result and is longer than just 3 seconds. You kind of hold it upright and shake it in a back and forth motion away from your body..that seems to work best for me. I like it and am buying another one as a gift for my nephews.Customer Review: Great toy for the price

My son absolutely loved this toy. It was fun to watch him study and analyze how a twister is formed in this way. I also learned a few facts about this phenomena from the educational tidbits on the back. Most toys for my son he loses interest in fairly quick. But this toy so far has kept his interest and has outlasted most other toys he has. In fact, it's sitting on top of the TV right now. Most toys for him usually find their way to the bottom of the toy chest within a week's time.Customer Review: Don't Waste Your Money !

I purchased this for my son, who loves studying severe weather. It worked exactly ONCE. It made one funnel cloud, then it burped a large air bubble inside and that was it, no matter which way it was turned, spun , or shaken. Now, it is just a tube of water with glitter that does NOTHING. And of course, it costs more to ship back for a refund than the value of the item itself. As I said....JUNK.

I purchased this "toy" for my autistic son. On the back of the label are the different categories of the fugeta scale. My son loves being able to make a tornado and then rate it. the tornado only lasts a few seconds but is what adds to his enthusiasm . He can continually remake them. For less than ten dollars this is a definite win, win!!
