Customer Review: A very good underwater balance board

This product is great as an underwater balance board. It is true that it does not work at all as an "underwater skateboard" and it should not be advertised as such. Yes, the name SubSkate is very misleading, but if you buy this item as an underwater balance board, you will not be disappointed. Learning to balance on it while you are in the pool is a very good all-round work out. It is fun and challenging to learn, and it strengthens your core muscles and also greatly improves your concentration. This item is really great for older adults who have good water skills but who need to work on improving their balance (and that's most of us!) I can certainly see that some smaller children who are quite light might have difficulty in pushing the board underwater enough to be able to try to stand on it. The board is not easy to use at first, even for an adult, but over time it gradually gets easier until you can stand on it with one foot, change feet while standing on it, kneel on it, sit on it, and even (most difficult of all) do a handstand on it!
