Toys and Games Reviews of Super Soaker Max Infusion Flash Flood Water BlasterCustomer Review: Doesnyone here even kno what CPS is? Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great gun, I got mine last year and it has served me well. But reading some of the reviews I have noticed that people have been complaining about CPS (Constant Pressure System) and most people not even knowing what it is. This makes the first shot of the gun as the same as the last shot of the gun. In non CPS the pressure is in the main tank forcing it out, so when you unscrew the cap the water and pressure flies out. In CPS you don't even need to screw in the cap and it stores the pressure in an auxiliary tank. IT DOSEN'T MAKE THE SHOT LONGER!
P.S. USE SPELLCHECK, i wouldnt trust an reveiw it if was spelled kinda like dis!
Customer Review: Handy for the random in-dorm water fight or as a highlighter gun Summary: 4 Stars
I got this gun for "self defense" after an indoor water fight broke out at my summer program. It's compact, fillable from a sink tap, and accurate enough to get more water on your target then on the walls. Using the alt-fire is a good way to piss someone off, or get people who don't want to get wet to back down. It's unobtrusive and can easily be stashed.
For fun at black lit dances, take the core out of a highlighter and tape it to the intake nozzle in the main tank. The resulting fluid fluoresces under the black light, producing a bright stream that makes whatever you hit glow. I drew some smilies on the walls and ceiling.
Customer Review: Whoa! glub, glub, glub, Eek! Splat. WHaaaaaa! FWOOSH! Summary: 5 Stars
This gun can be a lot of fun if you've got a flair for it, and its value depends mainly on what you use it for. I use if for short range shooting. However, the range is still very good. Once I played three-player and learned: DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON THE FLASH FLOOD OR GET SOAKED! Another lesson I learned: don't use the max infusion helix water blaster against this because it is short range and so is flash flood mode. And finally, using flash flood mode uses all your air pressure, so get a sidearm (Or better yet, a friend) to protect you while you pump. Or just pump really fast.
Customer Review: Get in the game! Summary: 4 Stars
We bought one of these for my 8 year old last year, and it was such a success, my 6 year old needed one to stay in the game for a fair fight. We purchased this second one for the 6 year old's b-day this year. The product is easy to use and sturdy. A 6 year old is strong enough to pull back the part for spraying the flash flood. Being filled full of water, it is fairly light weight, and has an effective design for small hands to grip & hang onto it, and not drop it while their running all over the yard dodging the enemy.
A good price for a durable & fun toy!
Customer Review: Comparatively weak, but good Summary: 4 Stars
My roommate picked this up as a gift for one of his friends, and judging by its performance, I give it four stars. If you are a water-gun enthusiast, it is true: this gun is somewhat weak, and the shot-gun flash flood is worthless. But if you're just looking for some fun, or if you're a parent look for a water gun for your child, I recommend it, especially since the "flash flood" will likely be "cool" to kids who don't mind getting close and wet. But as it's December in Boston, I must end this review. At least it's not the Arctic Freeze Super Soaker.
