Product did not work when unpackaged. Replaced batteries and tried to reset machine, nothing worked. Keypad did not work. When the card was inserted it would mutter a few words then die off. Unfortunately, the box was destroyed before testing the toy. I would not recommend this product. I feel bad for my son who researched it and was so excited to get it. If there are any known common problems/ fixes I would appreciate it. At least then we could use it as an educational device....Customer Review: Coins entered incorrectly valued

I love the idea of this product. However, it incorrectly counts the value of the coins enterred, counting a nickel as a quarter and a penny as a nickel occasionally, completely making the account balance incorrect. It is unfortunate that such a marvelously creative toy isn't more properly made. Additionally, I don't like how the money drawer just collects the money in a pile, instead of sorting it slightly. If they improved those two items I think it would be an exceptional product.Customer Review: If I was a small child, I would love this too.

My 5 year old had been ogling this item in a toy catalog for the last few weeks. I found it here on amazon, cheaper than the listed price in the catalog. I was fully aware that we'd probably get a pink one. I didn't care. I will totally save 10 bucks. My son didn't care either. It's just as fun whether it's pink or purple or blue or yellow.
This toy works well, is fun, and keeps my 5 year old entertained. The only con is it's a little too loud and there is no volume control.

I purchased two of these. I have a 5 year old (who loves to count her money) and a 10 year old. These are great but be certain to read the instructions to set it up correctly. One of them had a problem with the motorized bill feeder and we had to return it and reorder another one. The return was very easy and simple. I think my husband spent the most time, feeding the coins and bills and enjoying seeing the total calculate. It is a good way to teach the children to save.Customer Review: Great Educational Toy

This was purchased for my seven-year-old daughter as a Christmas gift, and not only has she "played" with it, but she uses it as a means of keeping track of her money. She has spent quite a bit of time learning an important life skill. She checks her balance each time she makes her change deposit, and she has already changed her PIN twice to keep out her older brothers! Great toy for teaching kids how to manage their money, and use technology to do so.
