Toys and Games Reviews of Step2 WaterWheel Activity Play TableCustomer Review: Lots of fun, a little flimsy Summary: 4 Stars
My twin 1 year old boys received this for Christmas. They enjoy playing with it as well as my 4 year old boy. The water wheel is a great feature and I have no problems with it working. I didn't realize that it is just a piece that sits on the table. It is not permanently attached or doesn't even have the option to attach/detach, so the twins are constantly pulling it over. But, that is something they will grow into. Also, it is fairly lightweight, so as they are holding onto it, it moves across the floor. As soon as it's warm outside, we'll take it in the grass where this probably won't be an issue. I like how you fill the top area with water and it starts flowing down to the lower area. It's a good deal for the money and we look forward to enjoying it more.
Customer Review: Perfect toy for a Splashy Day! Summary: 5 Stars
Perfect toy for a Splashy Day! My son and neighborhood children LOVE this toy! They were all asking when we were going to bring it out of storage for summer time play. Well it's back for a second year and they still love it.
One problem I have had with it is that the stoppers do mildew but a little bit of bleach after the children have gone inside will cure this and any slimy feeling it gets. They are absolutely fascinated with it.
This is a great gift and a great toy for your deck if you don't feel like filling the pool everyday. You can conserve water that way and they get just as wet!
This is its second summer and it is still in excellent shape! Even the toys have held up well to daily summer use!
Customer Review: what an entertainer! Summary: 5 Stars
My MIL bought this for her house for the grandkids (4 kids ranging in age of 2yrs-7yrs). All the kids play with it! The love it so much. They get cooled off and play at the same time. My MIL keeps it right on her deck, so we're not having to runa fter them, they just stand right there and play there little hearts out! Kind of small for the bigger kids, but they still love it. They love to see how fast they can get the water wheel moving. Lots of room to play in the water for all. Drain drips just a little, but all toys do that with water. Worth every penny! We tried looking for the same one a few weeks ago, every store is sold out completely! Might order it online, but stuck on how much it costs to ship. This is MUST by if you have kids!
Customer Review: Leaks, leaks and more leaks! Summary: 2 Stars
We purchased this table for my 18 month old daughter. She had a blast playing with the table, loved making the water wheel turn. The problemn was that the table leaked, and leaked and then leaked some more. I called customer service and was told to use vaseline until I received my replacement plugs. The vaseline trick worked for all of 15 minutes and then it was leaking again. Finally received the replacement plugs and they did not fix the leaking problem. I ended up having to return the water table. I hated doing having to return it since my daughter enjoyed playing it so much but the leaking was so excessive that it was just not worth it. We ended up getting a water table by Little Tikes and have had a much better experience with it.
Customer Review: Good Clean Fun! Summary: 5 Stars
We've had this table for about 3 weeks now, and our 16-month old son loves it. It keeps him occupied for around to 30 minutes before he starts to wanting mom or dad to play with him. Most times, we have to drag him away from the table.
The table is divided into two water reservoirs allowing water to overflow from the upper to lower basin. The table is the perfect height for him. He's can barely manage to put water into the waterwheel tower, so there's still room to grow. Often times, he'll move the tower to the lower level so that he can fill the water tower more easily.
The table was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It was actually a little larger than I thought it would be.
