We bought this locally in Hawaii from TRU. It was easy to assemble. There were no drain plugs as described. To empty, you need to tip it over. The table is sturdy when filled with water. However, when my 14 month old (at the time, she is now 22 mos) tried to climb in it did tip over. She hasn't tried to climb in after that incident. I like this because it allows my child to play with water and not get as dirty or wet, and it only uses 3 gallons of water. My child can learn about the physics of water and have fun with it, without my having to have the garden hose on or filling a large pool.
You still need to supervise as it can tip as I mentioned above.
The water tower is a bit tall so some children may have trouble pouring the water into the top area. I used to have to put it in the lower "harbor" but now my child is tall enough, she can pour in the water easily.
She likes to take out the water tower and spin the wheel herself. She also likes to fill and pour out the water with the cup. She pours the water out on the ground or sometimes tries to give it to our two dogs to drink. She has even poured water on their heads (which they don't appreciate too much). She plays with the two boats, but not as much as the cup and the tower. One of my dogs chewed up the sail of one of the boats (probably getting even for the water on the head).
I add a couple ballpit balls to make it interesting since they float and have no holes for the water to get inside. She also likes to just splash her hands in the deeper side.
Now that my daughter is older, she doesn't play with it as much as before. This is probably also due to the weather, even though mild in Hawaii, it still gets cold and windy and there has been a lot of rain.
Overall I like this toy. The only downside is there were no drain plugs and the storage of it is still rather bulky. It does take up less room than a plastic pool. I wish it had a cover though. We store it in our covered lanai but my dogs hair tends to collect on it. I give it a good wash and rinse before and after each use (since she sometimes tastes the water too). It is still in new condition after about a year (and being stored outside) so it is very durable. For the price, it's worth it.
