We bought this car for our little grandson at 10 months old as he loves to be outside and we walk him to the park each day and see the ducks at the lake. He loves this car and gets all excited and says vroom, vroom when we open the garage as he knows he is getting into his car! He makes his own car sounds all the way to the park and just loves it! We also take it to the Mall and he is so happy riding in it that it makes shopping so much nicer! Even Mommy & Daddy borrow it to go shopping in now as he is so happy in it. We also bring it inside to play with and he loves opening the trunk and putting little things in and taking them out and he pushes it around. This has been the best toy we have purchsed for him and he will be 1 yr old next week and this is still a big hit with him and fun to push him around in! We recommend this toy to everyone. It is fun, safe and very durable!Customer Review: A MUST HAVE!

WE just purchased this for our second child's 1st birthday. WE put it together two weeks early because we couldn't wait to give it to him. He loves it. The funny thing is so does our 2 1/2 year old. We can't get him out of it to put the baby in. WE are considering buying another one so they can both have one to ride in. We went on a long walk yesterday and we had to let them take turns riding in it. It is very easy to push and much more fun for the children than a stroller. I highly recommend this toy. Don't wait as long as we did. Buy this when the baby is 9 months or old enough to sit up well. It has a great built in seat belt so it is seemingly safe. I have never written a review, but couldn't wait to after seeing how much my boys loved this. If you are considering purchasing this toy, don't wait another day. We were visiting someone in the children's hospital which is where we first saw this toy - my daughter really seemed to enjoy being pushed around in it so we decided to buy her one for Christmas. Hands down it's her most favorite thing to do now! It's too cold to take it outside now, so my husband and I push her around the house and she smiles and laughs! She could probably do this all day long!
We had initially bought her a different car, the Chicco 4 in 1 Ride On car, which we thought might be better because it changed from a rocker to a self-push car for when she's older. But, in fact she didn't like it very much. I think part of it was that the seat was so wide that it forced her legs to spread out and it wasn't comfortable. She never wanted to be on it, so we returned it to the store. This Step 2 car is very comfortable for her.

I got this for my 11-month old grandson and he loves it. Lots of toddlers in the neighborhood have these, and they are sturdy enough for mile-long walks over sidewalks that are not in very good condition. I can't comment on their long-term durability, however, having only used it for a month. I like that the handle comes up high enough for me (at five foot seven)to not have to bend over to push it. The big plastic wheels are very noisy, though. The older ones I see at the park have narrower black rubber wheels and they are nice and quiet. The older ones also have a little plastic cover over the bolt that attaches the handle to the car, and the new ones don't, but this is not a big deal. I guess the company is cutting costs, but I would rather pay a few extra dollars for the old version. I bought this buggy for my year old singleton a few years ago. He LOVED it. When I had twins I knew I needed another one and sure am I glad I got two! The twins LOVE it as well. They enjoy it as much now at 22 months as they did at 10 months! They don't even mind that they can't walk, pedal,etc... they have so much fun cruising around in the neighborhood. We've taken it to zoo outings, parade, carnival, most anywhere! Even with two it's easy to load in the van and I never have to fight the kiddo's getting in as sometimes is the case with stroller. I just can't say enough great things about this buggy!!! A MUST HAVE! (It is a bit loud,especially with two, but like the other reviewer said, if that's the only downside it's still worth it!!!) The durability is great. You can barely tell the difference between the 2yr old buggy verses the new one!
