Toys and Games Reviews of Step2 Push Around Buggy (Red)Customer Review: Great for a few months Summary: 2 Stars
My daughter loved to ride in her car from 9 months to 15 months but now she is bored with it when I put her in. She puts her feet down on either side while I am pushing which scuffs the tops of her shoes very badly and makes me nervous that I might hurt her her if I go too fast. My other gripes are that to turn it you have to push down on the handle to lift the front tires off the ground - seems like this would wear on the handle. On the first car we got the pin to attach the handle would not fit through the holes, so we had to return it. Lastly - it would be much better if the wheels were rubber. The plastic wheels are very noisy. The whole neighborhood knows when we are coming. Overall, it is cute and it makes younger babies/toddlers feel big but if your child is like mine with the "I want to do it myself" attitude, they may get bored with this toy quickly. Check out toys that they can grow into a little better
Customer Review: Push Around Buggy - Loving It.... Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this buggy for my daughter (15 Months) and I have only had it for a couple of days now but I had to pop online - WE LOVE IT- I am not one to write reviews but Madison can really look around and point to squirrels, cars etc and feel the grass, just by leaning over - she is securely strapped in so it is completly safe - she smiles and and yells - and sometimes trys to drag her foot on the pavement - she says Oh OW...how cool is this...she gets bored in the stroller and falls asleep - she looks around and takes everything in while in the buggy - yes, the wheels are loud - neighbors come to their doors as to what the racket is but they smile when they see Baby Madison cruising along, we carry in the storage area, my bottled water, my toddlers sippy cup, Madisons sippy cup, graham crackers, keys to the house and still have room - horn honks....Mom and baby Madi and truly happy - Get one....You will love it.
Customer Review: This buggy is SO cool!! Summary: 5 Stars
This little buggy is so fun! My 8 month old loves this! He gets so excited when he sees it. When he is not riding in it, he loves pushing it around and walking behind it. He is not riding well in his regular stroller, so this is a nice change. The only thing I can think of that is a negative thing, is that its not good for a sleepy baby. I have used it in the mall, and its great, but when Andrew gets sleepy, its not comfy for him and he gets crabby. So I would not reccomend it for all day trips. Also, there is no room to put shopping bags. It turns easily and is really easy to push. I am 5'8" and the handle is a prefect size. The little storage space is great for sippy cups, burp rags, keys, etc. It actually holds a lot! This little car is great to have! My sister is thinking about getting one for her 8 month old daughter, in pink. Over all, I would say this has been one of the best things I have bought for him!
Customer Review: Best Money I've Spent In Months!!! Summary: 5 Stars
We just bought this toy for our 10 month old son, Caleb. Wish we had bought it sooner!!! My husband and I are both about 6' tall and the handle is definitely long enough, which I had originally worried about. The safety belt is a huge plus since Caleb is constantly trying to stand up or look over the front of the buggy into the hood. I love the fact that his feet cannot drag on the ground. It has the three features we could not live without...the handle, safety belt, and platform for his feet. One added feature we did not expect...it only took a whopping 2 minutes to put together! Many trips have already been made up and down our block with lots of cute comments from the neighbors...commenting on what a cute toy and great idea the handle is. I couldn't agree more. He got so excited the first time we put him in it. He absolutely loves it. THe bad thing about it...he hates coming inside now.
Customer Review: Absolutely Love this buggy Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this at a consignment shop when my son was about 15 months old. He is now 3 and still loves to play in it. He mostly rides his bike, but occasionally will sit in it and pull his feet up and right it down the driveway. He also loves to load the front hood with rocks and sticks and mulch.
We started putting my daughter in it this summer when she was about 7 months old and she loved it. She squealed with laughter. Since she's too small for a bike, we put her in this buggy when we takes walks and she never gets tired or bored of it. She pretends to drive and just has a great toy.
It's also incredible sturdy and well made. We bought it used and it still looks practically new. Also, I have kids that love to climb and I can't remember it ever tipping over on them when they stood up or bounced around.
I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a pre-bike type toy.
