We bought this for our son when he was 11 Mos. The only complaint I could have is the pin you push through the handle to attach it to the car is a little tough at first you have to have someone with some muscle really push it through, but now its simple to take in and out. We took this with us to the last Phish festival in AUG 04 in Vermont. It rained for days and the festival was on a farm, Believe it or not this buggy acted like a 4X4 all I did was turn it around and pull it like a wagon and it went over everything!!! Huge mud puddle and huge grassy piles of mud. It was a lifesaver!! My son loves it!! It is very durable and I think even though the wheels don't turn it is pretty easy to guide it with the handle!! Also there is a little storage area under the hood which makes a perfect spot for a diaper snack or cup. We have taken this to three county fairs a couple of parks and to the pumkin patch and all around the yard up hills and down hills. It also has a seatbelt, which really works believe me my son tries climbing out all the time. Hope this helps!!Customer Review: Red Dye Rubbed Off

We purchased a red Push Around Buggy for our 7 1/2 month old son. One of the good things about the little car is the ability to strap the child in for safety. Our son really liked being in the car as well as playing with the compartment in the front when the car was parked. However, the red dye rubbed off on his socks. He was not left in the car for long periods and I washed the car thoroughly with soap and water. Thinking this must be some sort of "odd" occurance we contacted Step 2 and explained what had happened. They were very cooperative and shipped a brand new buggy to our home. Much to our dismay, the exact same thing happened with buggy #2. We were forced to contact the company again and they issued a credit letter for us to return the item to the store. We were very sad to have to do this because we feel the car is a good toy but the dye problem is serious. My sister owns the pink buggy and has had no problems...but I would be cautious when purchasing the red buggy. Hopefully, the company will correct this problem or find another color!Customer Review: A Must-Have for Every Child!

I picked this out for my son's first birthday with a gift card we got for him. I am SO glad we got it!!! It's without a doubt one of his favorite toys. He loves cruising the neighborhood in it, and prefers it over his stroller for walks to the park. I have got many comments from other parents that they wish they had one of these instead of the cars that the kids have to power themselves with their feet. The handle is the perfect height-just right for me (5'6") and my husband (6'2"). I thought it would be difficult to turn since the wheels are stationary but I was pleasantly surprised, it turns so easily. And I was very pleased to find it had a seat belt, so my son isn't tempted to jump off. Since we keep it by the door, he even plays with it inside, he'll sit in it and pretend to drive. The 'ignition key' is pretty lame, for the price we paid it should be better, and the trunk is too small for any of the toys he wants to bring with him, but overall it's a great toy. I noticed it comes in pink too-just right for our new daughter!Customer Review: Only wish I'd got it sooner

When my grandson was 10 months old his other grandmother brought home this car. We were so impressed that my daughter and I both went out and bought one so he would have it anywhere he went. In spite of the fact that it has replaced the (heavy,cumbersome) stroller and he is in it almost every day outside he still loves to play with it indoors. At 12 months he also likes to push it around. I like it because it is suprisingly lightweight and with the handle easily removed fits well in the car. Also he loves the attention that it attracts from other kids when they see him ride by. The hood compartment is large enough to carry a bottle,snack and diaper. The only reason that I did not give it a 5 is that the wheels do not turn left or right so I have to turn the whole car at corners (not difficult because its so light but awkward).Still I was amazed at the low price for this toy/stroller. I would recommend it to anyone whos child can sit up (though it does have a seat belt and he doesnt fall out even when he falls asleep at the wheel).Customer Review: This is a perfect item for short strolls with baby!

My son is very, very big for his age, and I got this for him when he was about 6 months old (and 21 lbs, 29 inches long). Because he was a good sitter and because the seat has a strap, I tried him out in it earlier than I expected to and he LOVED it. He is 8 months old now and his favorite time of day is 4pm, when he gets in his car and we walk up to get the mail (which we carry back in the "trunk" (which is roomy enough for a bottle of water, keys, cell phone, diaper, and other essentials). I love that I can push him without bending over, I love that it has a strap, I love that my son takes driving his car very seriously, and sits straight up with both hands on the wheel - it still cracks me up every day. Everyone in the neighborhood has come to love the sight of my little man driving his car - he thinks he is king of the road. It rides very smoothly and he gets a better view of the outdoors than he does from his stroller. A definate must-have and one of my favorite purchases!
