Oh my gosh! This is so awesome! My neighbor told me about this car and how much fun her son had in it at the mall. I just bought it for my 11 month old son and he LOVES it! At first we tried it out at Toys R Us and he didn't want to get out of it. I had to push him around the entire store, and then we bought one. My mom and I had actually forgot his stroller and my neighbor told me that she bought one for her son and takes him shopping in it (he's 1 1/2 yrs now) and he still loves it, so we decided to get this. It was a HIT! He sat up in it so proud and happy (still smiles every time he sees it!) Everyone on the mall, the parking lot and at Target smiled and laughed at how adorable he looked. He was soooo proud to be sitting in this car and "driving" around everywhere. I would love to emaail you a picture. It is truely one of the best investments I have ever made. He even loves the little "trunk" where I keep all of his cheerios and goldfish. It is so sweet and I would pay more than twice the money for this car. No more stroller for us. It's A+ all the way! I perfer this over a stroller for a couple of reasons. I like the fact it is small enough so you can put it away without it taking up much space. It really helps when your in a condo, or other small place. My son likes cars but we can never get one because items such as Power Wheels are to big. My son can actually use his imagination, and pretend drive in this toy. With the stroller he wants to get out of it all the time, and he tries to push it. At least with this toy both of my sons will stay in it, and my three year old can't get enough of it when I bring it inside. My son has a small build, and this is perfect for him to push with his feet inside on the carpet. I think the older the kid is it is easier for them. My sons are three, and one it doesn't seem loud to me but maybe I'm used to noise were I live. Reguardless it is a fun toy for kids, and one you will enjoy pushing them in as well. I also like the fact that these are not expensive. If I need parts I can order them from the website. If they are missing the company ships you parts without a problem. I bought this car for my 18 month old daughter. I can't begin to tell you how much she loves it!! We keep it in our garage and when I come home from work and open the garage door, she runs out to her little car, sits down and attempts to seat belt herself in!!!! We often use it if we're going to a strip mall or department store - - it keeps her much happier than sitting in a stroller! One of her favorite parts is the trunk in front - she stores various items in there (cups, dolls, etc...) The other thing I like is that her feet are inside the car - it's not the kind of car that the kids propel themselves. The only problem is that sometimes she'll drag her feet outside of the car and I find myself repeating "feet in the car!!" Also, I agree with other reviewers that the tires are noisy on pavement and it would be great to have some sort of rubber tires. It would probably make the car more expensive, though.... And yes, the handle was hard to put in. We still haven't gotten the pin in all the way.
Nonetheless, this is definitely a must have toy. My daugher LOVES it!!!!
Customer Review: Happy, Independent Toddler!

My 2yr old nephew got this from grandma his first birthday and he still loves it! He not only loves riding in it but now loves pushing it to. He will either push it using the handle or I will easily remove the handle so he can push just the car. He loves to ride everytime he visits grandma (which is 2-3x p/wk). He is small for his age so it still fits him just fine.
My only concern is that there is no brake on it so when he tries to climb in on his own it will start to roll. The older and more independent he gets the more he tries to climb in on his own. We have put it inside the garage so it is not as easily accessible to him.
During the summer the buggy is only used in the mornings and evenings because without a sunshade the buggy becomes too hot. The sunshade you can buy to go on the buggy only provides minimal protection.
Fun, durable toy that continues to provide many hours of entertainment and is a great alternative to a stroller!
FYI-Watch out for other toddlers at the park who are going to climb in it, all the kids love it.

I bought this toy for my daughter's first birthday, and everyone in the family absolutely loves it. My daughter thinks that she is such a big girl driving around the neighborhood, and she prefers it to her stroller, hands down. It is sturdy, turns well, and looks cute. The removable handle is wonderful for trips as the car fits in our trunk beautifully. The handle is a godsend for parents since you will definitely be pushing this around many times for a long time. The storage compartment is really fantastic also - for all of those treasures that must go along. I think that it would be neat if the car made more realistic sounds, but my daughter doesn't mind in the least. She loves it. My only suggestion to Step2 would be to put little doors on the side so that children will not be tempted to drag their feet on the ground which my daughter occasionally does. However, parenting is not as much fun in the vehicular department without this toy. As my husband said, "this is one of the best toys that you have brought home!!!" Go get one todayand see for yourself.
