Toys and Games Reviews of Step2 Push Around Buggy (Red)Customer Review: Safe fun for a little one! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this for our toddler when she was only two and did not regret it. Not only was it perfectly sized for her, but the secure waist belt made sure she did not tumble out as we rolled along. The generous size of the buggy and chunk wheels made for a smooth ride, the long push handle was very easy to maneuver, even on curbs, and the storage compartment on the hood was great for tossing juice, keys, etc. We got many years of use out of this wonderful toy, and even kept it outdoors in the winter time with no ill effects. The handle unscrews to fit snugly under the buggy so you can store it without the handle sticking out if you choose. This is one great investment, and your child will surely enjoy it for years, or until they outgrow it!
Customer Review: Great toy-even for my 6 month old daughter! Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter has been holding her head and sitting up well for a while. She is very independent and wants to do everything by herself. This toy was the perfect purchase for her. The seat buckle keeps her from grabbing the steering wheel and pulling herself up. We were looking for something for her to ride but all the other toys allowed her feet to touch the ground and peddle. She is too young for that and her feet would just drag. Also, this buggy is molded to support her on the sides, back and also between the legs. She loves it and seems very safe and comfortable. The only thing I'm not so sure about is how long this toy will entertain her. I can't imagine her wanting to ride this when she would be able to scoot with her feet, etc.
Customer Review: nice but small Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased this red buggy for my 20 month old daughter as she was dying to have one. I got the red one because I wanted to stay away from pink, just in case we do have a second child and it's not necessarily a girl...
When purchasing it, I honestly thought it would last till close to her 3rd bday. My daughter is 35 inches tall, so yes she is tall for her age. But this buggy is already almost too small for her! She barely fits in it and she has to squeeze her legs in it.
My friend bought the pink one and it is definitely a few inches bigger. So if your child is tall for their age I'd recommend you get the pink or blue models.
Other than that it is as described and loads of fun for toddlers.
Customer Review: Nice buggy for kids. Summary: 5 Stars
Love this toy. It is a very useful item if you want to take a stroll around the block and not bust out the stroller. Can be used for a nice walk in the park or at a fleamarket (has the hidden storage compartment under the hood) or even on the boardwalk. The kids like it alot. My 2 oldest boys are 2 and 4 yrs old now, so they have a ball pushing each other around the backyard. My 3rd son (the youngest)will use it a lot too when he is old enough to ride in it. The only problem I have encountered is the screw and button that hold the parents handle in, pops off too often. This could pose a safety hazard, but hasn't happened while pushing it along the street (we have very few sidewalks in my neighborhood). Very nice and durable.
Customer Review: Great Buy, but.... Summary: 5 Stars
My son loves his buggy - don't get me wrong - but we purchased this for him at 16 months. I can tell he's going to outgrow it very soon. He's tall for his age and this car doesn't allow for enough leg room especially for the growing child. I wish we would have purchased this for him on his first birthday or even sooner! The wheels are louder than I thought they would be, but doesn't seem to bother him, just me. With the noise level, I wouldn't use it as a stroller as planned, only around the neighborhood for walks. The wheels turn average, but it's a cute little toy for your child for sure. Would recommend, just don't get your hopes up too high! I found after reading the positive reviews, I was expecting more.
