It isnt rocket science, its a sandbox. Just a basic vessel to hold sand for my son to play in. Thanks to amazon buying a sandbox has become a 2 hour review of the finer points of why a sandbox is good.
Im just kidding but I do pour over reviews. I live in south florida and keeping my sand dry was important. This sandbox delivers. It is a good size not too big, not too small with a nice fitting lid that keeps the elements out. Appearance wise it is actually pretty sharp. I didnt know what to expect ordering a product this big but if the UPS man doesnt care then I dont either.
I think I made the right choice, this is a great sandbox.

My 2 year old son loves this sandbox! I chose it because of the natural color (we live in Texas and it seems the hot sun bleaches out most of his toys). Two children can easily play together in it because it's long rather than round or square. Also for the size, it's a really good value! We had his birthday party recently and had a bunch of one to four year old children really test it out - so I know it's very durable! The lid fits securly and the little bit of rain or sprinkler water that has fallen on it has not seeped in. Niether have any bugs or animals so far! My nieghbor's 7 year old son likes it also, so it's good for all ages. I highly reccomend it!Customer Review: A Sandbox That My Husband Doesn't Think Is An Eyesore!

I really wanted to get our one and half year old son a sandbox. My husband was refusing to because he said he'd make one for him (like when is he going to get around to doing that?) because he didn't want one more brightly colored plastic item in our rather small yard. Thankfully, Step 2 came out with this sandbox this year and I convinced my husband to let me buy it. I have to say he is pleasantly surprised at how nicely it compliments our landscaping and it sticks out in a "nice" way. Oh and yes, our son loves to play in it. The four seats are a nice addition and the rectangular shape makes it seem bigger than the square and round ones. Kudos to Step 2!Customer Review: Great Sanbox for kids!!

I bought this sandbox for my son after reading a couple of the other reviews. They were right, this is a great sandbox, my 3 year old son just loves playing in it. The dome on the cover is nice because I can store his toys right in the sandbox so we don't have to haul them back and forth everytime he wants to play with it. He also loves the dome on the cover to walk on like he's king of the mountain, it is very durable and I don't worry about it breaking, the top doesn't even slightly cave in when he's standing right on top of it. I would recommend that anybody looking for a toybox buy this one, I'm almost positive you'll appreciate it as much as I do.Customer Review: Great buy! Plenty of room.

I recently bought this sandbox for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it. There is plenty of room for all her toys and she plays in it for hours. It is very durable, and leak proof. It stormed badly a few days ago and not one drop leaked through. I also love how it blends nicely next to the house, so it doesn't stick out like a red ladybug or green turtle would. There is room for about three toddlers to play in this sandbox, although she loves to take up all the room and build a sand city. I highly recommend this sandbox for anyone who has an older toddler who will not want to buy a bigger sandbox at a later date. It is worth the few extra dollars.
