Customer Review: A fun toy that teaches kids to balance

I purchased this bike over a year ago for my son who is now two and a half. He absolutely loves this toy and it is pretty amazing how fast he can go on it. The fact that the front wheels don't turn doesn't stop him from either, he just picks it up in the front and turns it as he pushes with his feet. Overall it is pretty maneuverable.
I agree with some others who have written that this toy is prone to tipping, but I think this is a toy that kids can and will learn how to use as they grow into it. After the first couple of days my son got the hang of it and hasn't had any accidents since, today he can even lift his feet off after a hard push and roll quite a distance without tipping. I do think the toy is better suited to patios than the yard.
This toy is well built. I wasn't raised in the era of all plastic toys so I was a little concerned about how long it would last when I pulled it out of the box, but after a year of hard use we have had no problems. It was easy to assemble and the stickers went on without any problems. Bottom line, I would buy this for my son again, he has a good time with it.
