I just purchased this sandbox after much research....And it is a BIG hit with my 20 month old..All his toys fit inside under the dome lid while not in use. He stood on top of the lid along with a friend and the lid popped in but it popped right back out and you cannot even tell what happened...This is the best price sandbox for the money..Recommend it highly!!Customer Review: RIDUCULOUS

I have not received this sandbox for my grandson, yet. I grant you had I noticed the shipping charges this would not have been ordered. I could have driven 12 miles and purchased it without shipping charges. The toy is $50 and the shipping is $75. How ridiculous is that? I tried to purchase this sandbox through Amazon, but it kept being backordered. I finally found one at a local store. This is a wonderful box it has more than enough room for 17 month to grow with. The only problem is the lid. I don't think it will stay on even in a little wind so I put (2) tarp straps together and this should keep it in place.Customer Review: Great toy but the red fades

I love this sandbox but after a couple of seasons of being outside the red color faded into a white pink color. Otherwise a great toy. I love that the edges are not sharp like with other sandboxes so even crawlers can get in out out without getting scraped up. I fit perfectly under the platform of our swingset.Customer Review: Great Product

This sandbox was a hit with my 2 year old. We bought the 300 lbs of sand, but could have gone with 250 or even 200 and it would have been plenty. Each day she requests her to "go digging". We know that it will last as other step 2 products do with just a little fading.
