I looked and looked for a toy box and they are all so expensive! its crazy! I found this at target, but total (with shipping) it was over 200$.. yikes! so i bought it here on amazon. i dont think i have ever been happier with anything ive bought. my daughter loves it, she crawls right in and plays with her toys, she thinks the flap on it is fun to push in. she even likes reaching up and getting her books! the big ones we just put on their sides and that works fine. as far as i can tell it is pretty durable, it doesnt wobble and when she climbs in it doesnt bend or anything. the screws are fairly easy to get to from the inside, so i put duck tape over the exposed parts so if she touches them they dont cut her. i give this five stars and would recommend it to anyone! its so great!Customer Review: Love this toy box!

Just got it last night and put it together in about ten minutes! I was worried it would not be big enough for all my grandkids toys at my house but after putting all their toys in it and on it, there was still 1/2 the room in the toy box itself. It is very big but works beautifully. I cannot wait for them to come over and see it! This is going to be a great way for them to keep thier toys picked up at my house instead of having them all over the living room. I am very happy with this product. The top will not slam shut on the kids like the old toy boxes used to, so its safe for the little ones. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend to anyone. I was a bit concerned when I ordered this toy box because other reviews said it was cheaply made, however when the product arrived I was pleased to see that it was sturdy and well made. There is a LOT of usable space in this toy box. The bottom holds a lot of loose toys, and the shelves can store large books. My daughter is too small to open and close the lid yet, but it seems very easy for a bit bigger child to use. Overall I am extrememly pleased with the toy box. I love it - it is sturdy, was super easy to assemble, just a couple of screws (provided) to attach the bookcase section to the chest - and it's great that the front is low enough for my 9 month old grandson to reach in and pull everything out. The other nice thing is that he will never pinch his fingers - good design on the top. He is really enjoying it and already learning that what comes out - must go back in! The other nice thing is that this will last him till he is 4 or 5 so he'll get plenty of use out of it.

I just bought this for my 2 year old twins. I hard a hard time finding something big enough to store all their toys and wanted something that would hold all their books too and I found that in this chest. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this toy chest. It's big enough to hold everything. My twins even jumped in the chest and had fun playing in it. It was so easy to put together and the lid is easy to move up & down. Best purchase we made. The box was a big hit too.
