We received this house as a gift Christmas 2004 for my 1st daughter. We are now approaching Christmas 2005 and my 1st and 2nd daughter love this house! We use it indoors during the winter and outdoos during the summer. The house is big enough for both of them to play inside together yet it is small enough to put in our house during the winter months. The girls love the mail slot, the doorbell that chimes and the phone that makes real phone sounds. I have to say this house really keeps them entertained. They also do alot of pretend play in it which I find very cute and entertaining to watch.Customer Review: Still waiting for my son to like this.....

We bought the cottage for my son for Christmas, he was 20 months at the time. I thought he would just love it, but we are still waiting for him to catch on. The only thing he will do with it even now is go inside a play "peek" through the windows. My son tends to be a bit of a climber, and this is definitely not a climbing toy! I guess we will know better next year! One great point about this cottage is the floor! Most cottage/house toys don't have a floor and this one does, which makes it real nice to have on any type of surface without worrying about your little one's feet.Customer Review: Great value

My husband and I just got this playhouse for our 2 1/2 year old daughter, we priced around for a long time and finally decided on this one because it had the floor, and it was the best priced playhouse we had seen. We are still impressed! Our daughter loves it and it was fairly easy to put together. I think that it is also great that there is only one thing that requires batteries, and that is the phone, which even when it runs out of juice will still be functional. (this was another big deciding factor)! I am VERY impressed with Step 2 in general as a toy maker!Customer Review: We all LOVE this house!

We've had this house for 3 months now. My daughter was 2 1/2 when we got it. It is very sturdy. The molded in seats are the perfect size for her, and she can stand up inside the house with some head room (she's in the 90th percentile!). My two favorite aspects that I think are unique to this house are: 1. the floor--it keeps things much cleaner, most seem to have open floors which would get muddy in our backyard, and 2. the open windows so that I can see in and she can see me! I have no complaints about this house (and at such a nice price!).Customer Review: Awesome playhouse- Perfect for tough little boys too!

My 20 month old son received this as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves it. Plays in it for hours! He loves all of the features. Opening the doors and windows, sitting in the chars at the table, talking on the phone, ringing the doorbell, and more! It was so easy to put together. Even for my Husband who refuses to read directions. We love that the house has a floor. A lot of playhouses do not have floors and then the kids are all in the dirt or grass. This house is also not marketed towards girls only. I recommend it highly.
