This toy was not at all like the picture depicts or the description states. I bought this for my preschool class because there were containers and packages in the picture and the description. When it arrived, there was food and only one "packaged food" which was soy sauce. If you are looking for something besides the standard plastic food, don't buy this.Customer Review: Not so Great

It seems like a nice complete set of playfood, except that the boxes are really flimsy cardboard, and I've thrown most of them out already. It doesn't take much to crush them. There are much nicer sets out there, and there are separate pieces sold on ebay, that are probably used but will stand the test of your kids much better. My daughter is two years old and learning the words for everything. This is excellent for the more common food words. For example we gather all the fruit types together and I "name" them for her and then throw them all back in the box with the other food and ask her to get the apple, or orange or banana or strawberry.

This was a great buy. My 2 year old son loves cooking and he really got into this food. The baby ate all the paper off the little jar food so that was not so great. I also removed all the little paper boxes from the get go. So really, they are only playing with about 1/2 the set but it is durable and fun.Customer Review: Nice but too many pieces and they are too small

I bought this for my niece with a shopping cart, but there are too many pieces and they are too small for her. I ended up returning it. It's hard to find a simple food set but this one is aimed at older kids. But I bet it will drive parents crazy with all the little pieces being all over the house.
