Customer Review: Don't buy this unless your child is very patient

The TV commercial for this doll factory must have been carefully spliced or used trick photography. It shows the entire doll inflating steadily and fully as one cranks the machine. I don't think so.
I bought it and gave it to my daughter for her fifth birthday. Fortunately, she was very patient about it. The design of the crank machine seems to be good but the overall design is a failure: the choice of fluff was not researched and tested carefully, because it won't move if it is either too dense or too light.
So, you need to use a lot of trial-and-error to figure out how much fluff to put in the machine: if too much, it jams; if too little, the crank just moves around and around with no result. I tried it, too, and had difficulty. Tilting the machine slightly seems to help, and also enables the child to watch the process while cranking.
Also, it seems to be a deception of advertising to show that you can fill the whole doll with the machine. The fluff naturally gets backed up as the torso of the bear fills, forcing a backlog in the nozzle of the machine. It is therefore necessary to detach the bear at least once in order to manually push fluff into its limbs. After that, we just filled the rest of the bear by hand rather than tying it back onto the machine.
