Amazon sent me a request to review this set of "Yo Gabba Gabba" characters, but I see the set currently pictured an Amazon is different than the set I received. My "Yo Gabba Gabba" characters look much more like they do on TV, the picture of the set now shows the characters looking more cute and cartoonish, less like they look on the TV show.
Anyway, the set I received (with identical item description) seems to be well made, and as you can see by the cost, they are expensive! I thought my 13 month old son would love them and they would help him get through a plane trip, since he seems to love that show when we let him watch TV. But the toys didn't excite him any more than other random toys, so in my case, these weren't worth the money.

I bought these for my 18 month old daughter for Christmas and am really happy with them. They are molded out of a nice sturdy, rubberized kind of plastic, so they are teething friendly but seem like they would stand up to a good snacky-snacking :) They look and feel just like you expect the toys on the show would in real life, and are just adorable. My daughter carries them around with her all the time; they fit perfectly in her hands and are a great size to play with (I would say they each stand just under 4 inches tall, with the exception of Broby of course), not too small and not too big to put in a purse or child-sized bag for toting around. I purchased these for my 3 year old daughter. She loves the show & really, really, really wanted toys of the characters. To my surprise, they are tough to find. I looked all over the internet. Those I did find were pretty pricey. She just loves little figurines to play with. I like them for her too. They are small & usually tough. I went ahead & bought these guys b/c they seemed like the type of toy she wanted. I am soooo glad I did! They came quickly after I had ordered them & she plays with them constantly. :)Customer Review: Fun

My 19 month old daughter loves these Yo Gabba Gabba figurines! She likes to stand them all up and then dance to music in front of them, then stuff all of them into her purse. They are the perfect size for her little hands but not too small that she could swallow them (but one reviewer says that Muno's eye can fall off). They are great because she can take them anywhere (like the car) because they are small.
They are half the price if you buy them from Toys R Us directly from their website.

These figurines are better bought somewhere else, but my daughter has had them since she was 12 months and loves them. I understand they could be potential choking hazards for little ones that could shove the entire thing in their mouth, but there are no moving parts and they are quite hard and not squishy. We like that they are not pliable so they can't be bitten into and they are great for handheld toys and fit in most of the little people homes and can even fit in mega block self built towers!
