Toys and Games Reviews of The Wiggles Sing and Dance GuitarCustomer Review: How Can You Sing & Dance Without A Strap? Summary: 5 Stars
My 2 year old eats, drinks, and sleeps Wiggles. He especially loves Murray. We have had a little plastic guitar for him that we bouht at a second hand store and felt it was time to replace. We chose this guitar because of his love for the Wiggles. He loves it. The biggest complaint was no strap. He even cried about it. We could not come up with a way to fashion one for it, either. How are you going to sing and dance without a strap? Our circut board has mostly worn out. About half of the characters that you touch no longer have a song to sing. This is after 2 1/2 weeks. Despite this, he still plays with it. If it is a guitar it can't be all bad for William. He plays along with Murray everytime he watches The Wiggles!
Customer Review: My little musicians love this guitar... Summary: 5 Stars
This is a complete crowd pleaser. My boys are HUGE fans of the WIGGLES and they each receieved this guitar as a gift when they were about 3 years old and it's still on their Top 10 list of "favorite toys in the house"! It really has helped them (not that they really needed the help) to come out of their shells and take on a role of entertaining friends and family that come to visit. The guitars are very durable as I've seen them used in my household as a bat and weapon (yikes!) -- nothing has broken yet! There are quite a few of their favorite songs on it and the same buttons keep being used over and over again. If you can stand the repetition of the music and noise I suggest this for the little music lovers in your house.
Customer Review: the most annoying toy ever Summary: 3 Stars
Kids love it. ALL kids love it. This however, is the single most annoying toy we've ever been given. It won't break either! It has been jumped on, had juice spilled on it, thrown across the room... and it just won't die. Batteries seem to last forever in it as well.
It's okay to buy this for your own kid but don't get it for someone else unless they ask for it. If I hear "Play your guitar with Murray" one more time... I think I'm going to snap. The toy also has a tendancy to start fights between my son and his cousins because they all really like it.
Warning, it has no volume control either (I think that it might be less annoying if it did).
Customer Review: Music and Buttons...what else does a toddler need? Summary: 4 Stars
My in-laws gave this to our son who was about 8 mos at the time(way too early - but it was put away until he was 1)
The guitar is colorful and sturdy. The music/jingles from each button gives him smiles all day and he loves to twist and bop around the house to the music. (The tunes do get stuck in your head and we find ourselves singing them throughout the day, but what can ya do if your toddler loves it. We have fun trying to figure out the words they are singing!)
He is now 20 mos and still plays with it - and holds it like a regular guitar.
Other than I cannot stand the Wiggles, it is a great toy he enjoys and I would recommend it.
Customer Review: Takes a lickin' and keeps on singin' Summary: 5 Stars
My twin 2 year olds love this. It's the only toy they own that they carry everywhere they go. It's been dropped, hit against brick, stepped on, jumped on, thrown down the stairs. You name it, they've done it, and it still works like new! It's also been really easy on batteries. We've only replaced them once in over a year and for being played every day, that's great.
It's also easy for tots to use. No complicated buttons. The tunes are short which is good for tots short attention spans and has actually helped my boys start to attempt singing a bit.
I love this toy and recommend it to everyone with children who love the Wiggles.
