I never would have thought that this would be as big a hit as it has been for both my 2 year old daughter & 4 year old son. It's one of the few activities that they will do together without too much fussing! I ordered the extra accessories (stamps & the brush/pen sets) so that they could have a few options while they both are using it. My boys really love to color and paint, but my sixteen month old gets marker everywhere! We got the Aquadoodle mat for Christmas, and my three year old and one year old "paint" and color until the entire mat is wet. It's a great activity while I'm trying to cook dinner or clean the kitchen.
The only negative is the mister, which works but the water is used up rather quickly. My three year old loves squirting the pad, but the water is gone in about 3 seconds. The regular pen and paintbrush (purchased separately) have been better writing implements for the pad.

I saw some reviews where people are complaining about it only coming with one pen. At walmart today I found a Aquadoodle pen and paint brush set for a little over [...] and the color mat is [...] and some change. My daughter and her friends love this and they are 4 and 5, even the older kids like this (8). The only thing I wish is that the water pin lasted longer before you have to and more water. I give it an A. Customer Review: Great toy!

My 5 year old girls received this product as a birthday gift from their Nanna and they love it! They've spent hours coloring and practicing drawing the doodles they show. I can't believe we never had one before! I would definitely recommend one of these for any kid, even my 10 year old and myself have fun with it!
