Customer Review: Disappointing Toy Doesn't Work

We tried it on various wall types (smooth, wallpaper, texture) and in two houses. We also had two of them, so we could be sure one wasn't defective because they performed the same way.
We put the car on the wall and it would just grind and not move. It moved a little, but wouldn't change directions -- only go up or fall down.
The car worked OK on the floor -- I've had better and I love RC cars. I was so eager to enjoy this car with my boys, but it just didn't live up to hype. Maybe v2.0 will improve.

After reading that the zero gravity car was a hot toy for Christmas 2008, I purchaced one for my grandson. It did not live up to the hype. It clings to the wall as promised, but it runs in fits and starts, even on smooth walls. My grandson was excited when he first saw the toy, but lost interest after several failed attempts to get the car moving for more than a minute or two. It is an expensive toy with little to recommend it.Customer Review: Not so great.

OK, it "does" what it says. Just not that well. It sticks to the walls. It will go along for a bit and gets stuck. You nudge it. It goes again. The car is VERY light so it will stay up, but it is very picky about the serface it rides on. Every little imperfection is a problem. It's a cute idea, but with all of the aggrevation, it is certainly not worth the money. One would be better off buying a normal RC car that actually works.Customer Review: Way too expensive!!

My 9 year old son enjoys playing with this car, but the cost of this toy is outrageous and the durability is questionable. I only put two stars because it has not broken yet, but it feels VERY cheap! Of course my son really wanted this toy and had been "waiting" for it, so he purchased it with his own money. If it were up to me I would not have purchased this for him.
