Customer Review: Quality not what it should be

Our daughter was so excited to receive the Super Studio for her birthday. When we opened the box and attempted to put the studio together, we realized that we had 2 right-side legs and no left. We emailed the vendor for a replacement part. The web site promised a reply in 48 hours. After a week and a half of no reply, my husband called the vendor who advised that they were really backed up. Vendor requested that we email photos of the incorrect part. We did and received an acknowledgement the next day. With a week, we received an entire new super studio with a faulty hose. Fortunately, between the 2 sets, we were able to piece together one that works. Overall, I would rate the quality of the super studio as poor.Customer Review: A Fun Toy

My 7 year old daughter got this for Christmas and she's had a blast so far. Have had no problems with the balls sticking in the tube, and generously spraying the beads with water has kept them sticking together pretty well. We really soaked them, and dried them overnight. We took them off the board without issue. One thing is that it takes a lot longer for it to dry than the 10 minutes in the instructions, and the little fan is pretty useless - the air doesn't even go near the board underneath! Air drying works well, just have to be patient. Also, I agree that it comes with a measly amount of balls, one day after opening and we already need refills. But overall, a fun toy she will enjoy for quite a while.Customer Review: Great fun for right child!!

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase this for my 4 year old. However, I'm so glad I did! He loves making designs with the Pixos and it has kept him really busy. The drying time is much understated in the directions (10 minutes). You have to be liberal with the water and allow hours for projects to dry before peeling them off of the trays (or they will fall apart, as stated in others' reviews). If your child is impatient or loses interest easliy in things, I would not recommend. This is a toy for a child who does not mind sitting still and staying focused until project is done. Overall, we've been having fun with it and it has been well worth the money for us.Customer Review: Not as easy as it looks on TV

My 6 year old daughter just received this for Christmas & LOVES it. However I have a few gripes. We to are having issues with the beads bonding together, I'm not sure what the secret is. The instructions that come with it are greatly lacking instruction, they are very vague. The amount of beads that come with it are a joke, not even enough to do the cards that come with it once. If you have a child who enjoys this you will be out within a day like we are & extra beads are expensive!
Overall my daughter loves it but it seems to need some fine tuning to work better. I personally think it is a rip off, needs to come with way more beads & a better bonding solution.

After a week of my 7 year old son begging for these because he saw them on a commercial, we bought them. They were fun for about an hour, then the frustration set in. The dots do not stick together. Instead, they stick to the tray. The clear tube that the dots come through, gets clogged easily, and short of beating the whole machine on the table, there is no way to get them out. The tubing does not come off. The refills are expensive and it takes a lot of little pixos to make a design. On the other hand, my son seemed to really enjoy them when he had success. Overall, if you buy this with low expectations, you will be happy. Otherwise, save your money
