Customer Review: Blondies Beware!!

Let me start off by saying my 4 year old thought this was soooo great she made me apply it every day on our Disney trip. If FUN is your only aim, you would probably be happy. In fact, she's bugging me for it again this year (Not happening)
Saying that, I have to tell you that the pink took MONTHS to wash completely out - she had a champagne pink tint for the longest time! She thought this was cool and I didn't really mind (maybe she got out her teenage rebel angst early) IF YOU CARE ABOUT PERMANENTLY PINK HAIR, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.
I agree with other reviewers that there wasn't much product, it was hard to put in and the application tool was so cheaply producted as to be unusable - I ended up combing the product on in sections and tossing the applicator completely. Hooray for 'made in China'! (not)
BTW - Google Spin Master (producer of this) and see how much other worthless plastic junk they make, and the recalls they've experienced.

My daughter got this for her 11th birthday. She had been wanting it for a couple of years. She and 2 friends had a fabulous time playing with it (and pretending to be hairdressers) for a couple of hours. They loved it! 2 of the girls had medium brown hair, and the pink and blue showed up wonderfully. One of the friends had highlighted hair, and apparently had a harder time washing it out (which may have been due to just plain lack of scrubbing on her part...she's only 11 too). All in all, this is a great toy for older girls (or boys...they did my 6 year old son's hair too!), but they must be careful when using. Just have them treat it like paint, or nailpolish...Don't spill, use plenty of paper towels, and be careful! Why not let them get coloring their hair pink and blue out of their system now, instead of when they're 15? Next time I'm gonna have her do mine too! My 8 year old sister got this for Christmas and couldnt wait to open it. I'm 11 and I couldnt wait to open it either. We finally opened it and I tried mine first. We were sort of dissapointed-you use almost the whole bottle on one strand of hair! I used the very light pink and it barely worked (when i tried to wash it out, it wouldnt come out) . I had used almost half of the tube on one highlight until me sister told me to stop. Then, I tried the hot pink. I have medium-brown hair and it worked ok. It didnt do the whole strand of hair-just the top-unlike how it is shown on the box. My sister-has light brown hair almost blonde-tried the blue and it worked almost perfectly. I'm not sure if it was how we used it or if it just didnt work. It definatly didnt work as well as we thought it would.Customer Review: My 6 year old loved it

My daughter bought this with her birthday money, and absolutely loved it. It's messy, but it was well worth the mess to see her happy. It comes out really easy, I mean she just turned 6 and got it out herself. She was wanting to go to school with streaked hair, but it washed out when she got her shower. I wouldn't pay anymore then 25.00 for it, we got it at wal-mart and that's what we payed. Overall I was vry happy with this product. I really didn't want her to get it, I thought it would be a pain. We put it in my 2 year old's hair to, and she thought she was really big. I would buy it again.Customer Review: I don't like to write negative things, 1 Stars
I have never written a bad review in my life, but I just feel compeled to warn others. This product is very "cheaply" put together, you get VERY little of the color product and what you do get does not really work that well. My daughter has dark hair so the only color that showed up was pink. Also it was very difficult to get evenly into her hair so some hair had too much product and some had too litte. I am very disappointed that we paid so much for something that we used once and will probably never use again.
