I purchased the added package in error for Christmas, but shortly thereafter I also sent the full set. Both girls loved it, and had lots of fun.
Just as the previous review stated, the 12" curls are not long enough for shoulder length (and longer) hair. The curls do not stay in as well as you would expect, or as they are shown on the box.
However, if you use a little gel or spray as you are running the hair through the curing process, it will work longer. 1st curl, 2nd set aside as you curl more. 3rd Start with the first one you curled and put it in your hair, it will last longer this way. Another secret is to use a hair net to keep it in place until you are ready to go; you'll be spiffy.
